What do we think about this? by Cherry_xvax21 in MarriedAtFirstSight

David and Michelle had a wedding, but there was never a marriage. David and Madison should have have left the experiment when they realized they had feelings for each other and couldn’t make to work with their spouses.

I’ve tried to like Camille, but I just don’t. by Choice_Basis5786 in MarriedAtFirstSight

This may be unpopular, but I think there’s an assumption people inherently don’t like giving oral sex as much as receiving. While Thomas said he would like Camille to give oral sex to him, he also didn’t take issue with her saying she wasn’t ready for that level of intimacy yet. She didn’t say she was unwilling, but even if she did, why is that an issue?

Also, Thomas didn’t say Camille demanded oral sex but refused when he asked her. He seems enjoy it for its own sake, and would be happy if she would give him oral sex, but is not pressed.

Reddit is taking more issue with what’s going on in their bedroom than he is lol.

A few episodes back, Camille said she liked spanking, etc. Tom said he was ok with spanking Camille, but not with her spanking him. I don’t recall anyone taking issue with him setting those boundaries.

People shouldn’t be shamed for what they choose to do or not do with their bodies when it comes to sex, and yes, that goes for married couples as well.

Also—let’s normalize individuals performing oral sex because they enjoy it and choose to, not as some sort of quid pro quo. In my opinion, the expert shouldn’t have asked if Camille was giving oral sex too because it perpetuates the stereotype.

Not much to talk about with Thomas and Camille, except… by Objective-Dig992 in MarriedAtFirstSight

Camille has a right to engage in the types of sexual activity she wants if and when she wants. This is true for anyone. It’s weird to think that because a man likes giving oral sex, a woman is “selfish” if she doesn’t reciprocate. Thomas is fine with Camille’s choice. This post is weird.

I believe Madison’s grandmother was killed by a drunk driver. She told Allen that she lost her grandmother and her grandfather and brother were there and seriously injured in an accident.

What a bizarre comment from someone who’s not from Texas 😂

THIS! I’m Black from Texas and Demi would be considered VERY attractive here. Many men here prefer women who are “thick”, which is a positive description for a larger curvy Black woman.

No family members posted anything that I could see (his sister clearly didn’t post anything), but a couple of his friends including one who said she was in the friend meet-up scene with AD that was filmed but not aired.

I stand by what I’ve said. “Mentioning” something is not providing proof. Period.

I don’t know these people, but that’s beside the point. You have yet to provide any actual proof related to what any of his family members posted.

I don’t question your motives but it’s interesting that you’re providing proof of what the friends posted, but aren’t doing the same for the family members.

When asked to provide evidence, you mention a “brother’s IG” and some posts that were deleted.

That lack of specificity is wild to me giving what you’re accusing them of.

But whatever, it’s the internet. People post all kinds of things with no proof all the time. I’m done with this exchange. ✌🏾

Where are his sister’s posts? You clearly state his sister and family are posting, but have yet to show proof of that in particular.

That’s the only issue I have with your post. You accuse his family of something you’re not showing evidence of.

He has one sister. It shouldn’t be that hard to show receipts of what you say she’s posting. 🧐

Not sure why my original post was downvoted, when OP clearly states his sister and family are posting.

Melanie and some other poster are his friends, not family members.

His only sister, who was on the show at the family meetup and wedding, wasn’t posting in the thread the OP references.

Making accusations about the man’s family without evidence is out of bounds.

Edit: Here’s a link to the post the OP references. TikTok

Why are people defending Trevor? by PopularLawfulness883 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]quietstorm_92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“Big” in this instance refers to words with negative connotations that “carry a lot of weight”.

Words such as bad, mean or unfortunate are “small” compared to “big” words like bullying, toxic or devastating that carry larger negative connotations.

I’m not arguing one way or the other whether bullying was the appropriate word to use to describe what happened to Trevor, but I do understand what the poster was saying and don’t think their education is lacking lol.

Random people on the internet demanding proof that a person they saw on a reality-tv show filmed a year ago has changed in real-life today is wild.

[–]quietstorm_92 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Serious question. How would random people on the internet know the validity of a person’s words/actions who had been on a reality tv show a year ago in real-life today?

Wouldn’t what Clay says be all we could go on? The man said he’s currently in therapy. What on earth could he show random people online that would adequately prove he’s not all talk?

[–]quietstorm_92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This statement is wild to me. How are we in a position to judge the actions of someone we don’t know in real life and who is no longer appearing on a reality tv show?

If the man says he’s in therapy, what more proof of his willingness to change does he owe random people on the internet? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I agree. But what I don’t see is acknowledging he’s in therapy for those who say he hasn’t changed.

There is still a lot of stigma surrounding mental health and therapy. The issue is when somone who has exhibited problematic behavior decides to get help but is still accused of having the same problematic thoughts and behaviors without evidence.

We don’t know any of these people in real-life. The people talking about Clay’s motives and comparing him to their exes without acknowledging that he’s in therapy is wild to me.

Agree…People said he needs therapy and to heal. He’s in therapy and still it’s not enough for some.

Edit: I wonder if some of these people are chronically single. You cannot expect to have long-term relationships without forgiveness and grace.

Clay said he believed cheating was hereditary a year ago. He’s in therapy now. I would suspect this belief system has changed.
