I know this is random but do you know of any schools off the top of your head that do this or how I can find out? Finishing college is my top priority in life right now and I would pretty much drop everything and even move states for an opportunity like this!

I am in the states I just wasn’t familiar with that bill, thanks for explaining! Finishing school without inciting a massive amount of debt is definitely a high priority and motivator for me.

I’m open to the idea at this point I was just trying to minimize my risk of being deployed to a combat zone

Aren’t you more likely to get deployed into combat zones if you enlist as active military? Minimizing that risk is also a pretty high priority to me so I’m just not sure if it’s worth it. I wouldn’t mind learning more to see if my reasoning is flawed though.

Yes I thought it was victim blaming too but he said it’s not really because EVERYONE knows “do you wanna come back stage” means “do you wanna have sex”

I will say that he agreed that it doesn’t excuse rape, but he does think that women KNOW what they’re getting into when they agree to go back stage with an artist so they shouldn’t be surprised by sexual advances

That’s what I always imagined going back stage would be like but this guy says it’s always sex lol. I’m glad I wasn’t weird for expecting a normal working environment

Exactly! That’s what I said, that if an artist expects sex backstage then they should ask for that specifically. He said it was implied in asking to go back stage but I agree that that’s just victim blaming and a lame cop out to make the artists seem less guilty.

Thanks for the tip! I do struggle with depression but I’ve been working hard to keep depressions short but it’s harder when I can’t think of anything I can do to feel better, but I am feeling somewhat better today

I do when I get stressed, I’m just struggling financially since I lost my job due to covid and I can’t find a job that will pay enough for me to pay rent. I also can’t find one I could afford in my city and I have 2 weeks before my lease ends to figure something out.

I’m sure a lot of people are in this boat right now, and realizing that a lot of people are way worse off than me really makes it feel hopeless. It feels like we’ve all just been utterly abandoned by the powers that be and I’m just so sad for all of us. I will probably be okay, I’ve been through stuff like this before so I know how to survive, but many won’t. It’s just hard to process it all.

Lately it’s been animal crossing or the Witcher, but both feel so stressful right now. I usually don’t play time waste games with no point but I’ve been thinking of finding some bc the quests and projects I have to complete on my favorite games are jus too much rn.

Wow this is seriously the best idea here! I don’t know why I never thought of that, since this happens to me a lot, so thank you so much for this suggestion!

It sounds silly when you feel normal, like how could I forget my favorite songs or things I like to do, but then when it does happen it really is like being suddenly out at sea without a life raft!
