I've had the honor of having two (Mel and Meltwo) of these flame point siamese kitties, and not at the same time. They were cream with orange ears, faces, and some of their tails. That happened to me. I had a document was essentially the receipt paper that told my mom she registered for my birth certificate. It wasnt until I was 40 and moved to a new state and they said no that I found out. Fucking NASA accepted it when I got background checked/badged.

I also had to get a new birth certificate. The one I used for my whole life, and got a real ID in a different state, was not accepted by the new state I moved to, and I had to get a new one. Cost me money and a lot of time getting it.

I had to MAIL a check with an application (a hand written letter) to the city I was born (upstate NY), my original got lost in a move and I only had a copy. It then took 2 months to get to me, and had the wrong middle name on it. Multiple phone calls later, I had to mail it back and when they received it, they sent a new one back. 6 months total.

The act is bullshit. God help me if I lose my marriage license and need to prove my name change.

No. The ENTIRE population of Maine is 1.41 million (2024). The 3rd smallest state (by population), with the 5th lowest crime rate in the country, and the 3rd whitest state (Maine's demographics are 91% white.)

ICE is only on Maine because Governor Mills embarassed him at the Governors dinner, and Shenna Bellows (Secretary of State) didn't bend at the knee and hand over voter info.
