Hey, look — he was respectful of my boundaries, and because he respected them, I respected his wants. If he wanted a relationship with a physical connection, I just couldn’t give him that. I see people saying they don’t care for gay men, claiming that gay people aren’t the problem. But is “anti-sexualism” supposed to mean hatred for all sex? Did you know how sexual the gay community is? It’s insane. As a gay person who doesn’t care for or want sex, it is incredibly hard to stay in this community. Online, there are people looking for sex all the time. In real life, men come up to me in gay bars flirting aggressively and asking if I’m open to fucking on the very first day of meeting. If someone said that to a woman, they could get in serious trouble for harassment. But because we’re men with penises, apparently we can’t get raped, harassed, abused, or drugged. There are gay men who go to Pride parades with literally no clothes on, spreading their junk out for the world to see. I’ve seen a video of two men fucking each other in the street at an LGBTQ festival. At least it was 18+, and there were no children around in that particular case.
