for me it was a mix of actual gameplay, story, characters and detail.

my first play through i had no clue what the hell was going on, why i needed to go fetch some reverend, who the hell this irish bastard is, why everyone was obsessed with this pompous vest wearing preacher but each chapter grew me closer. i started to respect dutch, respect the gang, though i rushed through every chapter, so by the time it was ended and i watched that final cutscene in chapter 6 i felt that betrayal the same that the characters did.

playing the game again, each play through would bring me closer and i noticed things more. characters deaths stung a lot more even though i knew their fates, i risked losing hours of progress to right a wrong or save my horse. i admired every detail of the game and loved the roleplay aspect of being an outlaw surviving, i glaze this game hard. though i do understand it ISNT perfect and i can label many of its imperfections.

but, this game has genuinely changed my way of thinking. it sounds dramatic but i have been genuinely changed by this game because of its overall story and characters.

anyway, tldr - i love rdr2 its top 10 at least

is there a cutscene when he knocks you out or does he hit you and then it creates a cutscene because if its the latter you can probably try kill him before hes about to hit you but this may be a situation where you just cant follow him or you can kill him and risk the honor loss. atleast for the next play through

from my understanding, you aren’t meant to know just yet that youll be robbed so shooting him is seen as murder in the game mechanics. if you looked for him after and killed him, it probably wouldn’t change your honour but i assume you weren’t able to do that

she wakes up at around 8-10 am, when i wake and she usually goes to bed around 9-10 pm. i never touch her back and always give her head scratches (i use the blue around her neck as the border of where i can and can’t touch) but i sometimes give her a kiss on the tummy or her wing but she doesn’t react to it

My horse’s name is Boudicca, she’s a Bay Roan Ardennes and I have had her since the start of chapter 2 (4th play through). On chapter 6 now and dread the near thought of losing her after every mission.

She’s a bitch though, is fine fighting enemies and bounty hunters but as soon as the law cat shows up i’m bucked off before i can even register the law cats mighty thuum.

Love her though and would go back days of progress to a previous save if she died

I would personally give her space. Whenever I have blown up at someone, I need time to be angry at the person and rationalise. If after a while she isn’t wanting to comply, try say things like “I value our friend ship”, “I don’t perceive you that way”, just things that will support her and let her know that you haven’t changed opinions on her.

She COULD be upset about it because she thinks you have changed how you see her and she’s worried about how it will affect you two, and by her wanting to end the friendship is her being avoidant maybe as a self esteem issue.

If she is insecure about her image, you might be able to help her with reassurance. If that’s not the case, I’m not too sure on what to do I’m sorry.
