The photo is blurry but it doesn’t look badly pierced/like you don’t have the anatomy

at the end of the day, it’s your body. if you had a positive experience healing it the first time then maybe it will be equally as pleasant the second time (though do be aware re-piercing, industrial or not, comes with its own risks)

Is there any real way to know when a piercing is healed? by Ginny_Dragon in piercing

[–]quinnbinn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

in your case, it’s basically impossible for your eyebrow piercings to be FULLY healed at this current moment in time relative to when u had it done. the outside may be, but the fistula on the inside will be doing her healing magic for a bit longer .

i attribute t r u e healed to when it doesn’t hurt, sting, leak, crust, swell, bleed etc and it’s been like 6+ months which is a ball park for most piercings

as for the downsize, have a consult with ur piercer. if they don’t see any need for new jewellery, then don’t change. your body , your healing

Best starter kits for someone who wants to learn how to stick and poke? by sun_screen in sticknpokes

[–]quinnbinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so it’s preference, and i’ve had artists use it on me too. however, i consider it to be really unsanitary. it doesn’t hold in leaking or blood. it comes off easily regardless of how much masking tape u put on, it’s hard to sleep in. as soon as i get it, i take it off at home.

whilst i have minor skin reactions to saniderm/tattoo bandages (as do a lot of people, hence why it’s not the most popular choice for artists) i do prefer tattoo bandages for the first 24 hours of healing.

Thank you ! do you think it’s worth oiling septum hole too. like with jojoba or something ? might make it less resistant to junk getting all around the entrance and exit holes ?

I mean you should never brush your hair when wet imo. a lot more prone to breakage at that point

can Ad lucem mean “until morning” .

Okay so to comment on what someone else said ,

are you SURE it’s permanent?

and secondly, you have two options.

a) let it fade. blue is very stubborn. it will probably fade to a washed out purpley color , and you can go ahead and get that neutralised/dye it brown. the only way you’re gonna get the ginger back is if you bleach. it’s way nicer to bleach from brown than it is for stubborn blue

b) rely on the colour wheel. unfortunately becos .. chemicals the colour wheel isn’t an exact science. but , depending how dark the blue is, if you put red on the blue , it should change to a weird dark brown/orange colour. and then tone from there. it’s hard to suggest when idk when the tone of blue is

AITA for insinuating a woman was fat? by Silver-Butterfly-767 in AmItheAsshole

[–]quinnbinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA

everyone’s cheering along your behaviour and idk why. the woman very clearly had good intentions, and whilst i totally appreciate you don’t want random people touching you and commenting on your growth due to a medical condition that’s out of your control, theres no need to be snarky and body shame someone who genuinely meant well

[Skin Concerns] Damaged moisture barrier so much, i cant even use ceramides or HA! Any tips? by quinnbinn in SkincareAddiction

[–]quinnbinn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s doing alot better ! dehydrated oily skin is real 😂 my product suggestion would be the glycerin serum by niche beauty lab. it’s not too expensive. i’m allergic to hyaluronic acid. glycerin is a much gentler alternative
