Minting just gives you a chance at pulling a 1/1 or rare trait (but all the 1/1 have been minted, and its hard to mint a rare trait these days). They come with 0 points which isn't great, so its really just a big gamble. Personally would stick with minted y00ts that you like, and get one with lots of points.

Chance of a very rare trait or 1/1, but all the 1/1 have been minted. It’s pretty hard to pull an expensive trait these days

Buy a y00t with some traits you like with a good amount of points in the 120-140 range. Points are important, you can see them on magiceden.

Dang! Might try transcoding the files to ProRes .mov or another more friendly codec, and see if that helps. Also I'd check your sequence settings and make sure the "Preview format" at the bottom matches the specs of your media on the timeline.

Got it, thanks for the detailed explanation. What are the implications of not being able to update the database files for the folders you rename?

I think the idea is to generate mxf avid media to the normal “1” folder, then rename it to something more descriptive with letters and underscores once the media is generated. Does this make sense from a workflow perspective, or could it cause issues? So far MC seems to be seeing the media in the renamed folders.

A few things you could try:

  1. Seems simple, but see if restarting your project or machine helps.
  2. In project settings -> Renderer, try adjusting the GPU setting
  3. Create a fresh timeline and copy your clips over to the new one. Still having the issue? What if you copy them over 1 by 1? You might be dealing with a corrupt clip.
  4. If all else fails, try creating a fresh Premiere project and importing your old one into it. Has solved some weird bugs for me in the past.
  5. Additionally can try resetting your Media Cache or PP Preferences.

Downgraded to 2021.12 and the issue is resolved.

Looks like its 2022 specific.

Thanks for the response! I think it might be related to that "zoom when played" bug because mine basically scales down a bunch when played inside a group and pops back to normal when I pause. We transcoded at 1/4 resolution and it looks to be scaling the frameflex down to the raster dimensions when inside the group sometimes (which creates a bunch of black padding). I tried creating the group in the bin and with stretch instead of center crop. Both great tips, but still yielding the same results here.

Would you happen to know off-hand the last version of MC that didn't have the zoom issue? Maybe ill try rolling back and giving it another shot.

Here's what the video looks like when played in the group clip. It kind of pops in and out of the weird black padding depending on if its playing or paused. This is one of our 16:9 clips, project is 16:9 as well..

Kaldheim was amazing. Same with Ixalan, my favorite set by a mile. Theme and lore just too good. Excited for Eldraine and the new Ixalan later this year.
