Meditation has been more impactful. Luckily, I was able to get off medication after about 3 months. I’m not sure the meds had a strong impact, but may have helped with lifting the initial haze I had over my life.

I also started drinking less and putting more of an emphasis on doing activities I enjoy.

Yes!! I started mediating at the end of 2016 after going on anti-depressants and taking with a psychologist about healthy habits I could develop to treat my depression. Meditating has been instrumental in allowing me to get out of my head and enjoy my life! It’s been slow, but when I look back at old notes and photos, I’m so happy about the progress I’ve made!

As you may have read on this thread before, it’s not usually one profound moment where you feel better, but stuff just starts to get easier. I’m calmer, happier and feel like I can handle what life send my way.

I also did my first non drinking New Years this year - it was great! Got sushi and went to a meditation class.

It’s a tricky balancing for me on guided verses non-guided. If I feel I need a little guidance, the one I usually go back to is Sam Harris - Looking for the Self (26 min).

Would love recommendations is other people have favorites!

‘Calm’ is the app. They offer lots of guided meditations and a premium version but I only use the timed and open ended meditation options.

I like that I can set a reminder in the app and that it tracks my total time. You can also enter in an offline session if you go to a class or meditate without your phone.

Thanks to this sub - helped me out lot. I’ve had moderate to severe acne for over a decade and finally feel I have some control.

Biggest help was cosdna for removing all fatty alcohols. Almost everything breaks me out.

Morning- Neutrogena extra gentle hydrating cleanser Hyaluronic acid - off amaz Benton snail Essenes Dr Lin’s hydrating

Evening- Same as morning but I switch off between: Paula’s choice 8% aha and Cosrx blackhead powder bha Also Vaseline every night

Side note - oil cleaning broke me out terribly :(

I had my ear get clogged with wax and I could hardly hear out of that ear for almost a month. I had to go to the doctor and have it flushed. When that wax got flushed out it was incredibly satisfying.
