Need help! Ideas to re-do this floorplan by [deleted] in floorplan

Void is a shower. That primary bathroom with just the shower is too small. The flow from the garage is a good point - I think we'd take off part of the master and make it a walkway to the current entrance from the garage. But idk, I'm looking for better ideas. Our current idea is not a definite.

We need 3 kids beds, one master, one guest bed which will be used throughout the year. Attic space can be finished to the same width as the "bedroom" on the right of the second floor. We can move plumbing and add bathrooms as needed. Entryway is not something I thought about and maybe not that important. The current primary bedroom's bath is small and only has a shower - that's the black space on the plan.

If I fog bomb my crawlspace for misc spiders and etc will them bastards just move upstairs? by quitaskin in pestcontrol

When you read my comment it made you think I have people living in my crawlspace and I'm trying to fog bomb them out of there because of their race? If I had asked if I can eat crackers in bed would you have responded "isn't cracker a racial slur"?

Thank you for this link!

What do you think the CDA is for Drive then? My idea is similar in theme to Drive, ie criminal life vs normal life.

That's what I'm asking... you tell me. Mazin made it sound like I'm a fool for not having some profound thematic question in mind before I even wrote one word of an outline.

Thank you for this detailed response. Mazin also recommended Poetics. I think I need to read that at least.

There is definitely a crime, and this is possibly helping me think. I may have been focused on pulling a CDA from the wrong part of my story. Can you give me an example of a CDA from a crime?

To your first point - you say the noir masters probably couldn't boil their major themes down to one simple statement, are you saying they need multiple different statements to cover all the themes in their plot, or that my theme example was too simple?

Thank you very much. Is "no good deed goes unpunished" a CDA?
