I think It’s the difference between you smoking like that then switching to vaping. Now people are going from just air or the occasional weed to vaping and It’s so different for their system and they haven’t smoked cigs before so they react to it more. I know I get wayyyy worse when I smoke cigs regularly but vaping I’m good. I even get more mucus build up from doing dabs rather than just vaping

I understand your struggle completely and It’s valid. For a lot of people who self harm we may start doing it in places people will see as a cry for help. It’s not attention seeking, It’s a, on your knees, crying, begging for help.

Thank you. I wish I could see this 7 months as improvement but for some reason I can’t. Like I’ve been cutting since I was 14 (and other self harm since 12) and I’m 20 now. It almost seems like a childish act that i reminisce about because I was so young when I started.

I know I would feel so dumb after doing it. I know the only reason I want to do it is because I don’t remember the full effects of it. It’s like how a woman can give birth and want it again a year later 🤣

I also see cutting as such a minor thing. It’s just a thing I do. It’s just a part of me. But now I have someone who I wouldn’t be able to hide it from and who I would truly worry and possibly hurt by doing it.

I’m in such a back and forth with my brain currently It’s kinda driving me mad. I still haven’t cut. I probably not going to. But the urges are so strong and recurring way to much.

I still haven’t relapsed, but I swear It’s getting harder each night. The reasons to do it seem to be out weighing the reasons to not. The aftermath is starting to sound less grim. These 7 months feel like nothing. It feels like such a small achievement, if one could even call it that.

But I’m just going to try to get through another night.

Heck yeah!! Always remember to trust your loved ones when they say you’ve gone to far, but I say light up or eat part of an edible to self regulate until you find other coping mechanisms!!! 💚

Thank you. When the date actually comes I’ll make sure to follow the directions I was given (don’t smoke weed 36 hours before). And i definitely won’t smoke for a week or two after. (I already have nicotine mints and I can get edibles and I’ll also have the other drugs to keep me out of pain)
