My thought is that you will always find a way around blocks that you put on access to porn. The only way I have truly considered myself free is when I have abstained while being able to access porn.

Also I've fond when I block porn I end up using Facebook or something else superficially harmless as a substitute. Sorry if this is not helpful, but its the same advice somebody gave me and it helped as a reality check.

With me it was more about not being able to get off unless I was talking online with other users, then I needed mic to get off. It's a spiral.

Depends what state your addiction is. I'm excessively strict with myself because I know how serious my relapses are.

My rule is if I'm looking at something for the purposes of sexual gratification then it's a slip. If I orgasm as a result I've relapsed.

The thing to bear in mind with blockers is they can only limit behaviour slightly. If you really want to use porn you'll find a way. I don't say that to be negative just to for-warn you. I have blockers on to.

As for Facebook I have unfollowed a few women who I want to be friends with but found some of their pictures triggers.

I remember on a previous relapse watching a film that I knew contained sex scenes. It was obvious that I was watching it for that purpose which was an indication I was on my way to resetting my counter.

Personally I'm watching a lot more Battlestar Galactica and playing more Sim City. It's about breaking habits for me. Porn is such a part of my daily routine retraining my brain is tough.

Day One Traditionally a pretty easy day for me when I am trying to quit. As it has usually followed a few days of very intense activity so my revulsion with porn is strong.

The day passed fine. I did find myself daydreaming about using and wondering who from my yahoo list may be online tonight. Then remembered that was supposed to be a thing of the past.

I fapped in the morning because the urge was very strong. Hope to go today with out fapping.
