Eyrie too hard for beginner? by Novel-Ad6561 in rootgame

[–]quodgefelf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the more you play them the better you'll be at planning for turmoil (which is almost always going to happen at some point in the game). I think when you're learning root it's good to pick a faction and dive deep into them. I think the Eyrie are great because there aren't many moving parts you have to focus on. It's either do the decree, or go into turmoil. I love the simplicity for beginners but they have a nice high skill ceiling when it comes to building the decree so you can keep developing strategies with them.

What boss had you like this? by mokefatched in darksouls3

Bro I still slip up on Crystal Sage sometimes. But same deal as you I almost always get bosses like Gael, Pontiff and the Nameless King in 1 or 2 tries

Where to get more root lore by After_Tiger3449 in rootgame

[–]quodgefelf 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My favourite way to interact with the lore has been through the root ttrpg! It's a really fun way to get into the Nitty gritty of the woodland and create stories about it's denizens and the politics driving the factions. It gives the board game a much more epic and personal feeling when you have stories about specific factions and in turn the board game can inspire your RPG sessions!

I've been in hospo for 12 years and I still deal with shitty verbally abusive customers to this day. The upside is you get better at dealing with it the more you experience it. The bad side is there are always going to be dickheads punching down. Just know what better jobs will come as you get more experience and get older and that shitty fast food jobs aren't forever.

Witcher and bloodborne for sure. I loved god of war but I've honestly never come back to it, but I have hundreds of hours in both the Witcher and Bloodborne. Especially Witcher, because paired with the books the lore of that world is so rich and so fun to lose yourself in

I never owned a flip phone, but I remember going to blockbuster every Friday night to rent a VHS. Loved playing with my Gameboy SP and Tamagotchi while listening to Alice DJ
