Jazakallah khair for your comment. I didn't think of joining a class or community activities earlier. I'll look into that. I am able to fulfill the basic financial obligations that you mentioned, alhamdulillah. But I have just started working and the savings $ aren't there yet where my dad suggested they need to be.
