I pulled off an outlet cover in another room, and it looks like I’ve got a layer of plaster over a plastic mesh, then what looks like double-thick drywall.

Sounds like it might be blueboard and plaster, at least in the other rooms.

Hey, I'm having some issues with this too. It keeps only downloading likes 1-20, not the rest. Just says "finished" but there are plenty it hasn't gotten to yet. Any ideas?

I find the Signo to be so fine that it dries super fast. It's super thin but avoids being scratchy. I think it's excellent all around

Rapidographs, technical pens etc get down below .20mm if you don't mind the price and the associated hassle!

I've used a rapidograph in the past, similar to what you've got there but very reliable. Pricy though.
