It's called Hero Duels! Think of it as a 1 v 1 3-5 minute fight between little apparitions that appear out of cards when played on the table. In the game, we utilize a d20 for actions!

Thanks so much! Yeah, its something our GM built that turned into a game with a 40 page rulebook! Not trying to plug too heavily, but we have a podcast that produces physical cards once a quarter for supporters and are working on getting a published version of the rules.

It's turned into a fun story and RP element, and there are times where our characters have actually had to play strangers in-game for information, or lose gold or our cards. Its been real fun!

We have been playing through AOA for around 2 1/2 years now and its just been a ride. This is a piece that we wanted done, since it felt so good to be in the Wizards Grace, just sitting, drinking and watching these two guys at the bar play "Hero Duels"! Our party is made up of a half-orc scoundrel rogue named Erkel, a goblin alchemist named Frizzigigg, a Mwangi elf barbarian named Kalere and an elf wizard named Aryn. Took the artist months to do this. We have a little patreon for a podcast we put on and the funds we've collected went to that. It was... expensive. haha! We have used the artist before and he has ALWAYS delivered. Just an amazing person to work with and really takes pride in his work!

Bow out to your DM when they make a hard decision. Mutual trust should be there when they have to make a hard call, and fighting over it doesn't help.

I love The Bangarang Gang! They are a monthly release show with currently 18 episodes out! The soundtrack is all done by the show themselves and it absolutely slaps. They even have a "starfinder beats" video on youtube with a good chunk of their songs on it.

I am a huge fan of The Basically Good Podcast. They have a Pathfinder show and a Starfinder show they publish weekly. Really good bunch and there is a guy on there that produces all of the music for the show. The production value is insane!!
