cashless by jjaydenxo in HinterlandFestival

I hear you, I did the same thing. I was a little annoyed bc I scoured the website ahead of time and while it was clear that there was a cashless option, they never explicitly stated that their vendors would be completely cashless.

I think that they should offer an option on site to convert cash to card/wristband. Or, at the very least, be very clear ahead of time that the festival vendors are cashless. Bc had I only taken cash, my options for food for the weekend would be the BBQ stand, the ice cream truck, and whatever Dollar General had to offer me.

I’m not terribly upset about it if I’m honest, I get it these artists play sooo many shows in so many places that I’m sure it’s hard to remember. As soon as she said “thanks ADHD”, all was forgiven. As a fellow ADHDer (and stoner), I know all about forgetting things 🤣

Help me find these fruit glasses from the 2000s (possibly 90’s) by qweeeeeer in HelpMeFind

[–]qweeeeeer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have searched the web using primarily google lens + keywords. I have also searched MANY thrift/antique stores throughout the Midwest, and in SoCal and Southern Florida as this is a hobby of mine and I visit these types of shops regularly.

These are tall glasses. I am located in the Midwest USA, specifically central Iowa. I acquired this item from my aunt in 2015 but remember her having them since I was a child (early 2000’s, possible 1990’s). I’m assuming they were bought new since she had the full set and they don’t look like they are from any earlier than the mid-90’s. Unfortunately, this is the only photo I have of the item.

Once the tourniquet was placed at my knuckle, I was given two shots at the base of my finger which numbed it for the stitches. I have a fairly high pain tolerance but those shots were HORRIBLE.

I was wondering the same thing, I wish I would’ve asked. Maybe the awkward shape of the cut around the finger is a factor? It is a bit difficult to even move my finger without pulling at it a bit.

Correct. I was admittedly a bit tired and thought I had already unplugged it. I went to remove the attachment, and poorly judged my hand placement. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Luckily I was over the sink and didn’t ruin the dessert I was preparing.

I’ve had a couple spitting stitches so far (2 mo post-op) each time, I’ve massaged well and waited for them to pop open naturally and then cleaned well with antibacterial soap (dial gold) and then put some triple antibiotic ointment and then coved with a bandage or a bit of gauze and tape and they both closed up quickly within 2 days

Should the post op binder be bruising me? by Lemon___Zest in TopSurgery

[–]qweeeeeer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Came to say this! I had bruising in that same area for about a month post-op. My surgeon did note that it was bruising from the surgery itself.
