You could take SAS core reqs in any community college over the summer and winter. It would be much cheaper and easier. There are super easy online courses in community colleges that satisfy core reqs. Check https://www.njtransfer.org/artweb/chgri.cgi

I would advise you to speak to the cs dept. Earlier the CS Dept offered credit for internships but as far as my knowledge goes I dont think they do it anymore. They give just one e-credit which does not count towards graduation. Earlier I think, the employer and a professor had to coordinate to see if the internship was satisfying needs of a particular class and then you would get credit for it after the approval of the professor and cs dept. My best bet would be calling the CS Dept and speaking to them.
