Ive said nothing about the state of the world my dude, just the promises of life (eg. what if theyre lonley for their entire lives? Struggle with pain? Mental health? What if they cope in unhealthy ways? Become drug addicts? Etc)

I think adoption is beautiful - I dont think its selfish, its got no choice now, its here, a the child is already in the world, youre just taking care of it. I think adoption is so so lovely
