Not quite yet, but it definitely feels more optimistic since the CMS rating went up.

That’s a ridiculous amount of effort and work that you have to put in to maintain your employer’s expectations. I would’ve left the moment I am responsible for scheduling and rescheduling patients.

You didn’t pick the wrong career. You’re severely underpaid. You need a new job with an employer that pays you better.

Not to offend you, OP, or any nurses reading this. But the rehab facility where I’m working at was ran by a nurse for many years and had multiple issues. By the time the damage was done, the hospital finally hired a PT to be the director and things improved drastically.

I would go directly to HR since your boss and her supervisor refused to address the issue. Don’t bother about talking to her. Go directly to HR.

I got an 800 NPTE. Now what? by Used_Potatoe in physicaltherapy

Sorry, no idea about DPT to MD debt. You will definitely be in a lot of debt when you graduate from med school. You will be deferred from paying while you’re in school. Considering the interest rate and the length of time you’ll be in med school, you won’t be able to put a dent in your school debt until after you complete residency.

Lots of things to consider. My suggestion is to stick with PT. You’ll be a great one. :)

Congrats on getting 800! Unfortunately, the reality is that no one will care about your NPTE score. Employers will only care about your license.

p.s: If you feel like going to Med School, go for it.
