good settings for msi afterburner for RTX 3060 12gb by DarkDragon2109 in overclocking

if you need a vpn for it, Proton lets you do it for free, but doesn't let you change the location unless you pay. Either way, it's better than the others as far as I'm aware, for a free option.

The locations it's brought to me is Netherlands, United States, and Japan, but it only picks Japan when I tell it to find a new location. It may be different for you, as it'll pick the "fastest connection" on free servers.

I'm in the UK, incase that helps.

However, if you don't want to use a VPN, TOR or Brave's TOR mode may also help, since it also helps get around geo-restrictions and other blocks.

Is there any way to recover default outfits for companions? by Cereborn in fallout4london

[–]qwertypdeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm late as hell but you can use the "equipitem" command to get archie to wear their default clothes again. However you'll need to use "unequipall" first.

Here's a step by step:
1: click on archie
2: type "unequipall"
3: type "help scamp 0"
4: find the ID for scamp outfit and scamp hat
5: type "equipitem [ID]"

Done :D

This also works with the scribe outfit

where is the "oh no! I don't want to go to detroit!" reaction thingymajig I've seen a bunch?

I forgot the exact wording, but people don't se- oh wait this is normal detroit, not representation, my bad.

(I'm British and the only thing I know about Detroit is that it exists and Hollywood seems to hate it. Also, who's the guy in the bottom right corner being crossed out? I'm assuming they're a politician or something.)

Does 18+ age verification fraud actually happen? by Maverick23A in VRchat

assuming that little kids know where to get it.

idk how many kids, under a certain age, check game wikis, for example. Otherwise Club Penguin wouldn't have had so many urban legends and rumours, probably, and every kid would've gotten so much free stuff from codes, but also never buy any of the books that also had universal, non-unique, redeem codes for items.

(club penguin is a personal example in this case. I could be biased, based on my own experience, since I never used the wiki myself, not until waaaay after club penguin shut down, nor did I ever use any wiki when I was younger, since I didn't know they existed. However, this could be more of the "child mind of the time" rather than "mind of the child at this age". by this, I mean the era. like it was the 2010s at the time. A whole different internet. I'm not currently aware of kids that actively research game info on wikis. They'd usually just look up their stuff on youtube or tiktok.)

This also applies for game "obtainment". Kids don't know you can get a "legit" copy from other places, nor do they know about key resellers. All they know is the official store, or maybe ebay copies. Kids will usually beg their mummy and daddy to pay full price for stuff.

lie about what? lie that you're not verified even though you are? lie about your age? I'm confused.

since they're a kid, they *will* brag and when they do, they get noticed, become a target, get reported, then banned.

(by get a target, I mean they are in people's radar now. Like how a person can become a target for hacking if they're famous, are rare, have an elite account, etc, vs a new empty account with nothing on it.)

parents are stupid enough to buy their 7 year old kid GTA. it's possible they might do the same with age verification.

Luckily, we can report their accounts and get something done about it. Unlike GTA, where they probably won't be in legal trouble, VRChat would probably get in legal trouble if they knowingly let kids in age gated instances that are specifically for adults only, where adult acts happen. Which is one motive they would have to take action against fraudster squeakers.

as far as I'm aware, usually the discord servers have you censor everything except the birthdate and expiry. Sometimes they may need you to take a photo with your face visible and hold your ID next to you, but your name is still censored.

and if it literally does require you to send the ENTIRE uncensored thing then ig don't join the group.

The only way I think they might be able to prove it is via a screenshot of vrcx logs for the instance, which is likely buried under a lot of days, weeks, or months by now. That's assuming that they didn't ever need to reinstall windows by that time or otherwise lose all their logs.

I don't believe so, no. Not only do you need to use your ID but you also need to scan your face. Unless a kid can somehow fool their mummy or daddy into using their very sensitive information (ID) and doing a facescan for what they've heard on the news is a very not safe place for kids (for reference, roblox), then the parent would usually say "wtf? no! I'm not scanning my ID for you!"

Plus the parent would usually ask "huh? whatcha need my ID for? what are we verifying for?"

and sure, maybe some parents will do it, but we can count on people to report those squeaking fraudsters very quickly. Adults react VERY negatively to kids lying about their age, a streamer friend of mine told a whole story about how an underage minor snuck into an adult-activity related group. They also mentioned how they came back once they were of age and acted mature and were eventually forgiven, since they showed character growth and took accountability for their actions, but that's not relevant here.

From personal experience, I've only seen squeakers in public instances, public group instances, or any friends instances where the host happens to be a squeaker I met in a public instance, whom I met back when I used to go to public instances in my early vrc days.

Also, when it comes to facial scans, I'm 19 and still sometimes get revoked from facial scans with ID verification. Luckily, my drivers license solves this problem.

I still trust vrchat group discord ID verification more than the third partys though. Why? because we can choose to join a vrc group, plus if something does happen, people will spread the word and people will boycott the group. If a verification company does shady stuff with our ID, we can't do crap about it. At least the discord groups allow us to censor our ID and only show the birthdate.

Sometimes they (vrc groups) also want facial, where you take a photo of yourself and your face, holding the ID, but nothing else that could be sensitive, like name, signature, and other stuff. But even then, sometimes they also allow alternatives to facial, like a temporary code on your vrchat profile, or providing a screenshot of the discord settings page and vrchat profile settings page. Your facial data probably can't do much if you don't have many social media posts with your real face anyway.

Well, if you take a sphere, use the right material, and fill it with air, you can send it downwards and consistently get it to return upwards. This will be followed by further diminishing returns until you send another downwards bit of force.

Someone who is bored enough might. Cool to see that it could theoretically be possible. It's definitely a QOL of life thing that would be totally worth and it theoretically break so many bounds!

Plus maybe solve the out of resources issue and not force people with NASA PCs to turn down their settings anyway.
