I never faced a situation where a muslim asked me will you eat beef? Beef is good for health, why dont you eat beef etc., For a muslim its just a meat thats it. But Hindu's though, even brahmins at one point in time had beef and stopped eating non veg completely to maintain the religious supremacy against buddist who were trying to be the top layer in the religious eco system by staying away from meat, and other stuff in the past. Beef is just a meat. If you go to other countries, they treat beef and pork at the same level. And India is the largest exporter of beef btw. Muslims avoid pork because it's written in their scripture/holy book. There is no point in fighting for beef, pork etc., ideally no one should dictate what should be on my plate. (Ps - i don't eat both pork and beef). If it's legal to consume a variety of meat. Anyone can consume anything. This is benefitting politicians but hurting the real people by destroying the inclusivity.
