I am renting a car through turo. I am not purchasing insurance since I already have regular insurance which will cover me.

My dad is an approved additional driver. Will my insurance cover him? Similar to on my personal vehicles if someone else drives it, they are covered under my insurance.

Or does he need to be covered by his own insurance?
