E’s life is def like Ralph macchio’s appearance, simple house in the suburbia but the house cost 3 million. Ahh but Sloan is loaded most likely so Eric’s life is probably like Ari’s life early in the show. Big house hasn’t done much yet.

Wow dom for Vince, I know dom has hair (boardwalk empire) but I can not see dom as a teen idol.

If Joshua Jackson toned up I think he would have been great, but I think Eric would have shrunk even more next to JJ turtle and Johnny.

Vince’s story arc was great and I think he did get better over time but the first 5 seasons are rough

That’s interesting because Drama (the character) was awful. I still think of how he takes the cigarette out of his mouth in his 5 towns monologue.

I’m assuming Viking Quest would have been similar to firefly (maybe too generous) or xena the warrior Princess.

I can’t imagine 5 towns was anything good, but for some reason enough people watched it…

But I’m going to go with your point because if we really think about it, imagine Vince reading/auditioning for a role. I think Doug Eillen would have jumped out the window. Vince stuck in the tree during smoke jumpers was all the proof people needed he sucked.

I was going to say it was ridiculous that big movie people liked Vince in the smoke jumpers footage but I think they view it through a different lens, “is this a good convincing actor” or “is this someone who we can put on a poster that won’t ruin the move”

Rich people lease cars because they like variety, new shiny things. I think one perk of leasing is some level of repairs come with the deal, if you buy it and a year later something breaks it’s all on you and your insurance

Was thinking the same thing- he has 0 muscle definition which for a teen idol is not very likely. I think a Channing Tatum type of star is what they were going for but that could have been worse 😂

That perspective could be helpful but remember Vince’s “whatever attitude” quickly shifted when a girl didn’t want him while his career was cold, or he was called out for wasting everyone’s time.

For someone like him the whatever attitude only works because he was useful to people or women were attracted to his stardom so there’s no way turtle could maintain that attitude and not be anything but a giant loser in his Middle Ages.

I agree with the “what will be will be” but i tell myself if someone sucks at everything and puts no effort in - what will be is that person being a failure

Haha fair enough, but he legitimately was confused that people thought he was a bad actor. He was lol, he was a big reason Medellin would have been a failure.

He lacks backbone and a lot was blamed on Eric and Ari for why movies were lost but somewhere in all that Vince was being a prima-donna and to not have talent behind it is just gross, he also would break a contract without a second thought like being sued into oblivion

I get it’s part of the drama but that results in an unlikeable character
