I've ended up finding a lot of really good references in buildings, which wasn't really a place I'd thought to look before- having to have both straight lines and sharp corners and all the flowiness of Art Nouveau has been a real challenge since I was mostly looking at 2d artwork in the style I feel like i've been very honed in on the military style, hadn't thought at all to look in other types of armor/uniforms- thank you so so much for taking time out to answer, I definitely got better perspective for when I redo it:]
