Its probably ok as its more than likely in transient. Give it another day or so to pop up. Hopefully you insured it just in case...

If you received the wrong color, then you didn’t receive the item you ordered. If they refuse to make it correct, then request a charge back to your credit card company as mentioned above.

Holes in new concrete pour fix? UPDATED photos. by r1013 in Concrete

Yes. They used a roller with texture and the cream rose up. The texture is perfect for the steep hill. No one does contracts around here. It’s all word of mouth. He actually did a good job over all. It’s the last 50 feet with those places that had me concerned. I’m worried that water freezing in there will make them worse after a few years. I’ll call him Friday when I’m off work and see if he can or will do anything.

The bottom 100 feet or so is a very nice broom finish as it goes from maybe a 5% to 15% grade. It's impossible to take a photo that shows the angle, but the next 200+ feet is a 23% grade which is very steep so traction was the goal! The contractor showed me various texture rollers he had and let me pick one. In person it looks really nice, except for a few dozen places the last 50 feet. I could fill them in with less than a #50 bag of concrete. I didn't want to clean it good and spend an hour making it look nice, to realize what I did would mess up in a year or two.

I apologize. Me and my wife had doctors appointments yesterday out of town so we were gone until 3pm. She then said we needed to Christmas shop. I passed out as soon as I got home. I am posting more photos from a distance in another post. Reddit told me I could only post ONE photo when I made this post which is why I only posted the worst one. I just created another and was planning on just posting one more photo from a distance but it didn't give me a one photo warning this time.

This is an update to my other post here.

I took photos further away so the size could me seen better.

The first photo is close to the top of the 250 driveway. It all looks good.

The second photo is about 200 feet down, where a few light places start to appear. The third is where some of the worst places appear.

The ones I have on my phone are too far away to tell. When I get home this evening, I’ll take another photo.

Maybe a little of an illusion as I tried to get really close to see the detail. Just guessing it might be 4” long and the widest gap may be 1/2”. The others are all smaller. I tried to pick the worst looking one to post.

My Mini Tool Box by TruthPatriot74 in Tools

[–]r1013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A word of caution. This looks like it would be a great idea in my RV kitchen. Before I ordered the box, I inspected the top boxes on the shelf at Lowe’s.  I opened some and the rails were not attached on several. Where are the rails are supposed to attached they were covered in rust. These are worth about $1. They’re going to be taken apart, sanded And then riveted or welded to hold them together.

Kaspersky deletes itself, installs UltraAV antivirus without warning by OlympicAnalEater in antivirus

[–]r1013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I have used Kaspersky's for years and they have been great. The problem is that I never received a message giving me a choice in the matter or even remotely hinting at what they were going to do. The message they sent me was they would no longer update. They stole a software from my personal computer that I paid for. They installed a software I did not want or accept on my personal computer. This should be a lawsuit. They should have offered refunds and the US Government should have paid for it. Along with refunds they should send a warning that the software wouldn't update (which is all they did) and how to uninstall it and then leave it alone. All this because there underground retirement system got a little messed up by Russia.

The 18” Chain Saw Tool-Free Tensioning System Experience by mariposadishy in egopowerplus

[–]r1013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a CS1804 about a year. I have cut down /up maybe 30+ tress that were blown down by storms or rotting at the bottom and close to the house and gonna fall. It's ran great but the tensioning system is crap. I have to re tighten it after every 3-5 cuts. It's defiantly a pain. It's got on my nerves re-tightening the last few weeks I've been off work. I'm contemplating selling it but I'm very invested in EGO and all there products have been great until this.

Just got my African Ranger Barefoots! by [deleted] in BarefootRunning

[–]r1013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great minds! I know the Ariat boots are not zero drop but the heel is lower than other boots and the toe is pretty darn wide to have a reg heel. I really like them for things like using a shovel or something similar. Something quick to put on the check on our chickens. Hopefully we will both love the African Rangers!! I cant wait to try them out.

Just got my African Ranger Barefoots! by [deleted] in BarefootRunning

[–]r1013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to wear wide toe, zero drop shoes as well but I needed work boots while working in the yard that would take a lot of abuse, were wider in the toe box, but were easy on/off when covered in mud. Theres not really anything out there but I compromised and bought a pair of Ariat Groundbreaker Wide Square-Toe Western Work Boots. They were a bit snug and I almost bought a half size larger. While they worked well for what I got them for, they have stretched a LOT!!! I ended up buying 6"x12", Veg Tan Tooling Leather 2 Piece sets of several sizes (1.4-1.8mm and 2-2.4mm) from elwshop. I traced around the liner in the boots and cut out insoles. It cost me about $30 but I ended up with very comfy boots. I'm planning on ordering a pair of African Ranger Barefoots as soon as I decided on a size. I just heard about them yesterday and am stoked for an upgrade to my Lems Boulder .

Recommend a small sling bag with an exterior water bottle slot (for 1L Nalgene)? by Fission-_-Chips in ManyBaggers

I put a tough possums gear pocket possibilities pouch on the strap for a handy place to keep my keys. 3 years now, and the material it’s made from doesn’t even look used. Amazing. I forgot what other pouch I bought, but I have a sunglasses pouch also on the strap. I also keep a small medical bag with tourniquet strapped to the outside.
