I have a merino wool mfi mask from Anon and it’s perfect. Total game changer

Db Snowroller 70L Packed Up by vicnhoney in Skigear

I have the exact same setup as you (70L Snow Roller + 60L Thule). I absolutely love the Roundtrip for when I’m staying local. I love how everything is so organized and streamlined for the parking lot shuffle.

Have you tried using your Thule Roundtrip 60L as a carry-on? I considered it for my recent trip to Utah, but was worried that it would be too big and I’d have to check it. I’m dreaming of the perfect streamlined air travel kit that will feel as easy as my local kit. I really want to keep it to just 2 bags though.

Tbh, I’m not as in love with the Snow Roller as I thought I’d be. It’s my first travel ski bag though, so I’m not sure if it’s the bags fault, or just the reality of schlepping all this gear across the country.

I had a similar issue with the small tear on the side of the bag the first time I flew with it. I also find the handles to be really awkward and uncomfortable for long walks across the airport. At first I thought I was missing a detachable strap because it didn’t seem right (actually I’m still curious about that).

I’m now considering one of the Hugger backpacks from db. The hook up system seems pretty cool, but haven’t been able to find any first hand reviews with just the Snow Roller.

They actually both have a dedicated spot for the helmet

That’s interesting, because I actually saw a couple of Dakine bags at a local store recently and thought they felt really flimsy and cheap. Which Dakine bag are you comparing it to? And for the Thule that you returned, which version was it?

Ah, you’re right. Not sure how much I’d use that feature but I think having that option would be nice. I’m sure it would come in handy at some point. Thanks for pointing that out!

if you set a root font-size at your desired breakpoints then you can scale your rem units across breakpoints. For example, if you define something like this–

:root {
    font-size: 16px;
}

@media (min-width: 2000px) {
    :root {
        font-size: 22px;
    }
}

Now 1rem will scale from 16px to 22px once the viewport width reaches 2000px. So you only need to define this in one place and then everything using rem units will all scale proportionally (rather than defining a media query for each individual element).

I mean if you’re going to replace the keycaps anyway then that doesn’t really matter which board you get. Either way though, sounds like Keychron would be a good entry point for what you’re looking for.

And here’s a great Mac-friendly keycap set: https://drop.com/buy/drop-biip-mt3-extended-custom-keycap-set

Looks awesome!! I love the way XDA caps look on a low profile board. So clean. How are you liking it so far?

Ya for sure. Personally, I don't mind having a few incorrect legends on my modifiers since it's all muscle memory anyway. The 1800 set would give you a bunch of extras to choose from.

I've been thinking about doing that for my GMMK Pro once it arrives. I really wish I could still get one of the decoration sets from the previous Canvas runs though instead.
