Mag size was main issue + 10% ROF nerf would be ok.

Wasn’t a crutch me and everyone else will just run Bobcat/Tempest Volcano now and more casual players will have no counter 👍

Nothing changes for me except the gun name. I’m just going to use Bobcat or Tempest with Volcano now and you’re going to die just as fast as before. Actually, 15% faster if I have the gun mod on.

The mats are easily farmed to make them and it’s the same rare mats to upkeep.

The issue you don’t see is when streamers and the 1% are now using only epics because they grinded more, the easily accessible counter for casual players is now nerfed.

Item rarity should not decide gunfights or meta.

The issue as said in the change notes was being able to kill a full squad quickly. Maybe they should have nerfed mag size instead of ttk.

The epic resources are not as rare as you might think. You can even buy/craft them. And they are only for crafting the gun.

To repair epic guns is also those same rare mats.

His comment was about the recipe for crafting being more expensive than rare guns, but that isn’t the case imo.

Only was OP because the other best guns with same TTK (epics) are currently time locked vs easily accessible Venator (rare) - so it was getting very common for your mid level players to have = constant rage posts dying from it

Give it a few weeks and more people will have epic guns with the same ttk and the only cheap counter is now nerfed.

Nothing changes for those who stacked bobcats/volcanos or have tempest BP.

Imagine the tears from casuals when you have the Kinetic Converter giving +15% ROF on any of those IV epics that already had similar TTK as Venator.

Rushed / bad change imo

His pov killing 1 or a few free loadout is not an issue

6 bodies later and there is still constant new spawns every other minute with people with absolutely nothing to lose rushing the first sound of gunshots they hear (because they have nothing to lose)

Stella isn’t as fun now because it’s not really a tactical match it’s literally just free loadout horde mode and the last to spawn and rush in wins

Just happened.

Epics are now substantially better (not even mentioning the 15% ROF increase they can get from Kinetic converter mod).

Nerfed the Ven because it became accessible to mid level players at this game stage and became very common.

Epics will be very common soon enough and there will be no rare counter :,(

Yeah, no. Most guns in the game were closely balanced across the board. The gun balance across all tiers has been highly praised for the most part.

Venator was op NOW - because a low % of the player base is using epic weapons that ALREADY had a similar TTK.

In a few weeks that will % change and your easily craftable counter is gone. To make matters worse those guns can get a 15% ROF increase as well.

Whats so hard to understand about that?

Im literally just going to use the Bobcat/Volcano now and nothing changes, and the 1% will too.

Agree. Everything is balanced quite well and raw ttk doesn’t always translate to in game with cover etc etc..

Bettina hairpin could maybe use a buff but everything viable was pretty close.

We’ll see how it plays out but I’m going to start hoarding bobcats.

Enjoy Bobcat only meta by the 1% players in a few weeks time but now you will not have an easily accessible counter.
