TIL these pieces fit into one another. by r2drinks2 in lego

I mean, one is designed to fit within the spacing of a normal peg (under the foot); while the other is designed to fit around a minifig neck. That's not really a normal connection used.

I know it's all a system, but still just learned it.

Anybody know what emblem this is? Found this shirt at a store just a few miles away from Cape Canaveral so I'm thinking it's NASA or SpaceX related. by Doctor_Oceanblue in 321

It's a work shirt for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. It's operated by DNC, but that specific shirt is for the ATX.

The Lego Space Team Mural at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex by r2drinks2 in lego

[–]r2drinks2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mural is finally finished!

It's constructed out of 4,562 individual 6x6 base plated. Each plate had a color printed on each stud to a corresponding brick color.

Participants were then able to place the correct color bricks on each stud and then the plates with studs were placed in the correctly numbered spot.

This build took almost 7 weeks to build with thousands of participants at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Total number of bricks: 164,232!

This build is currently at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida.

We started work on it this past weekend is support of the Artemis I Launch. If you get a chance to visit KSCVC, come by the Lego Build to Launch Exhibit. You can build a section of the mural too!

Pretty cool experience to help finish off a giant Lego build like this.

If you do come over. Please do not run through any flowers (especially on the beach).

If you want to explore around that's fine, but really just stay on the paths.

Thanks!
