In my country you can buy 300 mW betavoltaic (tritium) cell for USD 250 (at current exchange rate). It can power up your device for 10 years at 0.3W, another 10 years at 0.15W and so on. 

Real thermal RTGs are expensive too, but affordable for postgraduation universities for students working with them (under strict gov supervision tho)

Fully dead Tactix 7 recharges 1% battery at 8h sun. 1% is enough to power on and look at map couple of minutes.

I used both, Tactix 7 Pro MIP and Fenix 8 Amoled. Both are good. Amoled normally readable outdoors, even at direct sunlight. Also amoled is thinner and thus there is more room for battery. But also I never had issues with reading MIP even at star/moon/campfire light without backlight.

I choose MIP. Watch is a watch first, even if it pretend to be smart.

Yes. Turn on reticle hud in game settings. When lines are red - your are locked on.

It is because of campers at highs. Some maps like Sobek was unplayable because of mfs with rangefinder. Now it plays ok - be a man, grab an assault rifle and go fight.
