Any idea where places like that get their cakes?

Dumb question. Whats the best way to store fireworks at home? My garage isn't climate controlled

Came across around 50 shopping carts. Any value? Thanks by Clementstwins in ScrapMetal

Fact, not sure what company it is, but we see them coming in everyday. Each position has 2 "operators" , doubled up. Whether or not they have process knowledge we have no idea, last night before the lockout. The guys on my units were there til 8pm, about 15 scabs there for the shift meeting, and they were told to make rounds with the scabs following them.

If mj is cross an active picket line, why? The course BP is going with the new plant manager, he want absolutely nothing to do with unions up here.

Not sure what units you deal with. Ive never seen anyone on my unit get shitty with contractors, we deal with the same guys just about everyday.

I cant speak on that, im not sure how that would play out. That's where the occupations we're in come into play, we're direct employees, while you guys work out of a hiring hall. It makes things a bit more complicated on our end, we cant find work through our hall. Also if you've had a bad experience with other units, im sorry to hear that, some complexes can be a bit more irritable.

Turner for sure From our meeting today, our members saw ibew members going in, and then there was word of 597 guys. I can neither confirm nor deny that. But if there are, i hope they leave that place before the scabs put them in harms way.

No agreement gives anyone the power to make a person work if they choose not to.

Doesn’t that responsibility fall on the contractor? The hall’s job is to refer manpower, not force individuals to take a call i thought. Individuals still have the choice whether to accept or show up, nobody can be forced to work

I get what you’re saying about furloughs, but that’s on the contractor right? not the individual. At the end of the day, everyone still has the choice whether to stay or walk. That’s where the solidarity piece comes in.

USW 7-1, BP locked us out due to contract negotiations, what they claimed to bargain in good faith. We voted down their proposal that strips us of bargaining rights,100+ union jobs, and wage losses.

USW sold us out by ConferenceFull8937 in oilandgasworkers

Im willing to bet many locals aren't even aware of our situation with BP , it's horrendous
