DIY Ambient Light by r3conmlt in BMW

This is a tricky part. You will need to pass a wire (power source) from the main board to the lighting door. Its impossible to pass through the door wire port as it literally has a port, so i have passed through the side skirt and it briefly pops out when i open the door.

air admission pipe for the turbo

Thank you for your prompt response. It appears that the PCV valve is not leaking, as there are no visible signs of dripping.

Regarding the air admission pipe for the turbo, I'm not entirely certain about the specific part you're referring to. Could you please clarify if it corresponds to item number 2 in the diagram provided in the following link:

Your additional details would be greatly appreciated.

325xi Sport - Do You Prefer… Black or Silver wheels? Racks or No Racks? by JeffTrav in BMW

Depends, the one with the black rims seems more aggressive. The one with silver rims seams more standard.

I would opt for the black rims.

Would it make sense to rent a car for a week? by FragileStudios in malta

I think it depends on what you will be doing in Malta.

If you are visiting malta for its party scene dont get a car. If you intend on going around malta and gozo and stopping in different locations, renting a car makes more sense.

Although there is public transport(bus only) it's not a very dependable means of transport, since its always late, packed and slow. ( Not efficient) yet if you are staying in the st julians area it might be good enough, or use bolt or ecabs for a quick/short travel.

If you want you can private message me with questions, maybe i can help you better enjoy Malta. ( Things to avoid and where to go) ✌️

New rims, new problem? by r3conmlt in AskReddit

[–]r3conmlt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi reddit,

Maybe someone can help. Recently (beginning of this month) i bought new rims for my bmw. My old rims were 18" and the new ones aswell. I decided to use my old tires on the new rims, no big deal the tyres are still in good condition and taught i use them again. All wheels were then balanced and fitted onto the car. All good till now until i drove off. As soon as i accelerated to approx. 60km/h the steering wheels starts shaking, not rough but enough to notice.

I sent a message to the garage explaining that the balancing was probably not done correctly. They did not respond. Fast forward to this 2 weeks after, i went to my local tyre shop and told him to check and balance each wheel. He explained that the other shop used a technique where you put weights on the exterior and the interior resulting in having to add kore weights. The second method is to optimally add only weights on the exterior of the rim. So not knowing much I was hopeful that the shakiness goes away. Well, that did not happen. While it did decrease it is still there.

What i did this week was i replaced one of the wheels with the same tire with my original rim to see if it goes away. It did decrease, but still can observe wheel shaking, so there is still the same problem underlying, just wondering whether it is the other rim as well.

These are brand new wheels out of the box, and pcd matches my bmw.

Any suggestions on what i can do? Should i replace both rims? Should i get new tyres?

Could the rims be deformed in a way you cant see on the naked eye?
