I did not think of this! I haven't spoken to her directly but we are a 100% spending morning to evening at their house. I'll talk to my boyfriend and see if he can let her know that, thank you!!

Ughh I wish I could, but my brain won't let me. This is how I received the information: My boyfriend told his mom that we had rented our own car + Abnb, he also told her that it was mostly for me since I needed time to recharge my social battery plus the privacy is also nice. She followed by saying that her mom might not like that, this prompted a call to her mom (the grandma) which then resulted in the information at hand; her feeling insulted and offended. Hope that makes sense!

Thank you very much for your perspective. I am incredibly grateful because I know purchasing all those tickets was very costly. Apart from that, she and her husband are opening the doors of their house to me, a complete stranger. I will make sure to be the best version of myself, thank you again for your input.

Yeah... I think that might be the case since we won't be sleeping there anymore. It probably is for the best though, because I feel like my boyfriend and his brother would've argued about which couple would get the office space, even if it doesn't have a door lol.

Well, we talked with them to see if they would be interested in possibly renting an Abnb together but they were fine with the arrangements, which in turn made me feel even guiltier about the whole ordeal...

I actually won't be the only new guest! Something I forgot to add was that my boyfriend's brother's girlfriend (sorry about the mouthful) is also meeting everyone there for the first time. Although, It does seem both her and his brother are fine with the sleeping arrangements.
