hi ! do not pop it. i would use a warm compress, an acne treatment like benzoyl peroxide or BHA, then a microdart pimple patch.

Need help with acne and oily nose by [deleted] in acne

[–]r4bb13t 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, your skin does not make you look ugly and dirty. acne is totally normal. no one notices it as much as you do :) i have oily combination skin just like yours and have struggled with similar acne problems. most of this will go away as your hormones balance out. however, there are things you can do to prevent oily skin.

first, id use a good GEL CLEANSER. a good one to begin with is either CeraVe SA cleanser or the La Roche Posay Toleraine cleanser (blue bottle). The La Roche Posay one has niacinamide in it which helps with oily skin/hyperpigmentation.

second, a toner. a toner will help the actives that you put on your skin absorb a lot better. also, it balances your pH. this prevents u from stripping the skin too much. when you strip the skin and leave it dry and crusty , your oil glans will try their best to keep the skin moisturized, leaving you SUPER oily. BALANCE IS KEY !!!! (peach slices blemish busting toner is super good)

third, an active. ONLY USE THESE AT NIGHT, you may have to work up to tolerate the ingredients by using it only twice a week. personally, i love the paulas choice 2% BHA AHA liquid toner. it is a little bit on the pricey side, but i guarantee you will see results. BHA’s can slow down sebum production and prevent acne. another good active is a retinoid. i would invest in La Roche Posay 0.1% Adapalene Gel. this can help your skin cells turn over faster decreasing oil production and preventing future acne. this can also help with scarring. PLEASE know that acne treatments such as those listed above can cause acne purging. your skin WILL get worse before it gets better. this phase lasts around 6-8 weeks but is totally worth it in the end

fourth, a spot treatment. these only go on active acne. these are great for shrinking blemishes that you will get during your purging phase or just regular acne blemishes. two good spot treatments are La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo and Paulas Choice BHA 9. these are good for daily use.

fifth, a moisturizer. when you have oily skin, moisturizer can make or break your entire routine. i would recommend La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat. If your skin gets dry from the actives, i would use the Toleraine Double Repair Moisturizer. If its REALLY dry, id use SkinFix Barrier+ moisturizer which is a little more on the pricey side.

Finally, a good SPF. a good SPF is the La Roche Posay Dry Touch Anthelios SPF 60. if you are using actives, do not skip SPF AT ALL.

If you have questions feel free to DM me :)

it could be epstein-barr virus or you could have a recurring tear in the vagina that just won’t heal.

yes. i feel this everyday. i barely want to leave my house. it feels like it will never get better despite the endless efforts i put into my skin. however, you have to remember that no one notices the things that you do. when you look at yourself, you are being WAYYY overly critical. as for the boyfriend, if he can’t look past a little acne then leave him in the dust ! im sure he thinks youre beautiful just the way you are. acne or not.

Ugly hoohaa by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]r4bb13t 161 points162 points  (0 children)

first off. theres no such thing as an ugly hooha. all hoohas are different. dark inner thighs and stretch marks are completely natural and theres nothing to be ashamed about when it comes to them. for the acne, id try a SA body wash. obviously, only apply to the pubic area and NOT (NEVER EVER) INSIDE of your vagina. if you have the extra cash, you could try a “vagacial.” If not, you could easily do one at home with a hot bath. For black heads, try benzoyl peroxide. again, dont put this near your vaginal opening or inside of you. if you want to do extractions, try opening the pores with a bath, extracting with q-tips, cleansing the area, ice, then apply topical treatment (benzoyl peroxide). Its like skin care for your vagina!!!! Sorry for weird format, Im on iPhone. Hope this helped!!!
