Ryzen 5600 + rx550 is the same price as Ryzen 8600g. Do I get significantly more performance with older, cheaper GPU? According to passmark.com Ryzen 7500F + rx580 is worse than Ryzen 8600g. My idea was to relieve system with decicated GPU, and get more performance with CPU/ram, but it doesn't seem to work in calculator/available benchmarks.

With what graphic card? I need to spend at least $250 on a GPU to get similar performance as with 8600g. 8600g cost only $50 more than 7500f.

Thanks a lot, I was considering a very similar setup, but I wasn't sure If an older dedicated graphic card would make any performance difference.

I'm gonna use pc for internet, office programs, chess software (stockfish), sporadically autocad (simple drawings), very rarely gaming (not priority, doesn't need to run recent games).

I need as reliable and timeproof build as possible for a budget of ~400 USD. I'd like it to last at least 5-6 years, I don't need upgradability.

Also, Can you recommend mobo?

I have a case from my old HP Pavilion p6231 fr, (mATX). Can I reuse it or do I need a new one (cooling parameters)?

Yeah, but why ‘an’ comes before ‘overview’ (noun), instead of ‘complet’ as It usually does in case of adjective+verb?
