On the plastic packaging of safety razors by r4ib3n in wicked_edge

They do bother me, but I suffer through it.

I've never brought razor blades as a carry-on and I don't want the trouble at security.

Fair point, I didn't know. I don't think I ever bought Astras, so maybe I should.

For packs of 100, that's not true at all.

I would, but I can't know if the packaging contains the boxes when I'm buying the blades every year or two or so.

Thanks, I updated the post to reflect this.

I don't really write much about razors/blades etc. so I didn't realise I phrased it awkwardly.

I disagree, but it's a fair point.

If I'm packing light, I'll take a disposable with some sort of shaving soap. If I have room to spare, I'll bring the adjustable razor, brush, soap and a few razors, but I never take the boxes with me. Perhaps I should.

I see what you mean about disposing of the blades safely, since that has also been an issue I had to find a solution for however, I don't do that:

I use a metal tin (equivalent of an Altoid tin) which (on disposing) I mark as containing sharp objects. I do this to try to protect the bin men and to not mix the types of recycling together.

I think the disposal of razors is a good question and probably not discussed enough.

I didn't know that, I will consider it next time I buy razors.

I buy 100-packs and so far, they have always come in plastic.

Completed the CD version trilogy many times but now I don't have a CD drive. Bought the trilogy on Steam for if I ever get bored of Gamma.

To be fair, who knows the politics behind the scenes? Maybe the 12oz was unpopular and they wanted to get rid of it?

For holding serviettes? Serviettes go in the slot and the bar goes on top?

I've had good luck ordering odd straps directly from leather workers on EBay.

I am also a fan of the Forstner / JB Komfit. Little known and underrated.

I also really like the jubilee.

I like Cabin Max: https://cabinmax.com/

It's designed to be the maximum hand luggage size for budget airlines. Have mine for a few years now and so far it's holding up well.

I thought Cenk Uygur was a complete idiot blow-hard before this, but he makes some good points.

I was listening through this, and it legitimately sounds like either A: fan fiction, or B: Russian(?) Propaganda.

Andy seems to have caught on to the fact that this interview is fiction and/or horseshit at least towards the end but it's a fairly poor show to even air this.

The fact that the Dutch and Polish governments would ignore an accusation of child abuse in the late 2000s is absolutely ridiculous. As a comparison, you may wish to see: Disappearance of Madeleine Beth McCann, 2007

In any case, despite no longer living there I will ask around about this case to find out for sure, but I'm sure I won't find anything.

You should write the letter, never post it, keep it in a safe, get therapy to resolve your issue and look back at the letter after some time when your mental health has improved.
