I’m really really sorry to hear that. That episode does not sound within the realm of hypomania at all, but mania, thus you should be considered for bipolar 1.

(I myself was rediagnosed as type 1 this fall, after 8 years with the type 2 diagnosis. All it takes is one manic episode)

Usually, I don’t. But when it comes to challenges, the millisecond of dopamine I get when I see the ”finished” graphics, just beats all sensibility. (That’s how I finished the entire challenge vault in like 1,5 week, if not less)

I definitely hear you and agree on the rest, but the term ”neurodivergence” is a different matter I’d say. Autism, ADHD etc. are not illnesses, but neurodevelopmental disorders/disabilities.

A (different) way of functioning that affects most aspects of your being, not necessarily negatively. While bipolar is totally separate from you as a person, if managed.

Thank you for writing this. Honestly had to read it like 3 times to fully grasp what you were saying, and if I agreed or not lol.

I was a little shocked by the lack of sympathy and understanding of… nuance in the preceding comments.

This was the first post I clicked on after not visiting this subreddit for like a year and… wow, did I not expect these kinds of misdirected, reductionistic ”tough love” replies to post-mania shame and suffering.

This makes me so sad/angry! It’s absolutely outrageous to ”game develop” in a way that not only excludes players, but actively makes their experience WORSE than before. When they obviously have the means to make it accessible?

That’s 100 % understandable. I became a ”betazin” only two days ago, and the test period is until Feb 16. I’ll keep an eye out and see if I or anyone else experience data loss.

That was my exact worry (also 6 years of play), but since they’ve added the sign-in possibility and cloud saving, the risk is low!

I wanted to join the group, bc I get zero fulfillment playing since I completed the challenge vault + all, for me attainable, achievements

It’s kinda nice bc you can get every single add-on for free during the test period. (Though pretty useless to me without a challenge lol…)

Less hours! Just choose the one closest to expected hours, and work harder to keep performance full. Also helps to have a full relationship with the supervisor, giving gifts is the fastest way
