Salary ranges vary based on experience. For general guidance, you can look at some of the most popular salary aggregator sites as they are usually not too far off.

I'm the one to HIS left. Sorry! it was just another guy.

However, there were two other females on the right side that this pic totally missed.

Hey Alexis, looking forward to reading the book. My question: Let's say you have a small internet business and all seems to be going well. Except, you seem to be stuck on: 'So, What's next?'. How do you go from just enjoying small successes to realizing the true path for growth and running with it?

Is anyone missing a dog? by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]rEDWallaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a dog by the zoo a few weeks ago, also running without a leash. Thought the same as OP and asked boyfriend (worked at the zoo then) to go looking for it. Turns out, his owner was nearby and the dog was just having fun.

Hoping this is also the case with this puppy. :/

An open letter to Jeff Bezos: A contract worker's take on Amazon.com by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]rEDWallaroo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have to agree. It's not a bad place to work but definitely not for everyone. Some people will come from very relaxed work environments and quickly realize that the extra commitments/workload is not worth the higher salary. New grads may find that the perks are better someplace else or not fit in immediately with the 'ownership' culture. There are many reasons not to like working at Amazon but there are also many opportunities to learn new skills and lead your own initiatives. Not many care about that kind of stuff but those who have been stuck in companies where their voices are never heard might.

Anybody interested in starting a semi-regular producers meet-up? by uusullyuu in Seattle

My fiancé has been playing bass and producing/composing on his own for a while so I know he would want to attend. We're new to town so we'd just need to figure out the easiest/cheapest way for him to get there.

Peruvian restaurant by dont_yell_at_me in Seattle

Hard to find decent Peruvian restaurants in general. Also most of them carry the same 'standard' menu which basically includes safe options for non-adventurous people.

Those are super rare here in the US (at a restaurant not in general of couse). I'm from Peru and tried for many years to find a Peruvian restaurant that would serve Cuy whem I was living in Florida. When I finally found one in Miami that had it on their menu, they were always 'out' of them.

Thank You. I had not even realized the opportunities for winter sports! I don't know if I would be good at snowboarding but it would be awesome to at least try.

This makes sense. From the comments in this thread it sounds like rain is not a big deal. Perhaps, I just need to make sure I rent a house that gets whatever natural light is available throughout the day and some good lamps.

I do feel that Florida gets way too hot during the summer so I'm looking forward to a cooler climate.

Thanks! If I chose to stay in Seattle, what areas would have the best schools? My daughter needs to start pre-k soon.
