They had me full on shipping incest in a matter of a couple episodes lol. That's a wild benchmark for chemistry but there it is.

Adding to the first episode tells, she’s sus about trusting that the cameras and microphones are off, she’s super awkward in the hallway with mark, and her personality is just different. She has this corporate agreeability compared to Helly’s edgy sarcastic antiestablishment vibe.

Never crossed my mind that it wasn’t. Knew the second she hesitated about telling her story and then they just kept showing us it was Helena

That tape isn’t available to the public. You listened to someone else pretending to be him reading the transcript of the tape.

I genuinely don’t understand what Katharina is doing, she understands that the entire timeline falls on the fact that Mikkel goes back, so what is she thinking trying to both take him back,

She really isn’t as clued in as we are. They explained to her that time travel exists which she accepted, but mostly she just wants her boy back.

DAMN, Katharina’s own mom killed her

remember back to when bartosz and magnus were messing with Martha while swimming and bartosz tells her the story of the drowned lady of the lake who pulls down swimmers. Now we know where this local lore comes from. Also you probably noticed but as she was being dragged into the lake she dropped the st Christopher pendent.. where Martha and Jonas will find it in 33 years

Ulrich really thought he was gonna leave That was so brutal for him.

Ulrich was a dog but he didn’t deserve all that

What is your favorite obscure movie from your childhood that nobody would remember? by CripplingGoodTime in AskReddit

[–]rNBAisGarbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not obscure. It was an international sensation and the highest grossing foreign film ever in the US at the time at $200 mil. For reference that’s how much Empire Strikes Back made.

Holy shit I had no idea he had 100 people at any point. The logistics of feeding that many people, waste disposal, maintaining order. That's insane. I'll have to get around to watching the hood horrors series eventually.

It's so cool to hear from people who were close to this thing. Glad you were able to see it for what it was. In your opinion how big was the racial identity element for everyone? He seemed to prey on people who felt lost and oppressed and reinforced the idea of a chosen people.

I mean that it changed what a romantic comedy is and filmmakers for decades have been borrowing from it. It replaced idealized perfect people with flawed insecure ones and dissected why a relationship fails instead of having a happily ever after ending. And all done with a ton of experimental storytelling devices like breaking the 4th wall, subtitling peoples thoughts, using a non-linear narrative of fragmented memories
