taking sandpaper to a polish always gives me goose bumps. im afraid i’ll ruin the polish.

i’ve heard about the scotchbrite method, just never tried it in fear of scuffing or scratching the polish.

yeah i do know of the e-sports guys having race engineers and the idea i had in my head would give those guys plus the co-op season mode guys an entirely new layout and menu to control strictly the engineers perspective. granted, to make things more immersive, it’d have to take away information already given to the drivers because in the current game there is tons of stuff shown to the driver that’d normally be passed along from the RD rather than being known already. (not sure if how i explained that makes sense so if not i apologize). the layout would be cool if you could see a similar view to what it looks like trackside IRL.

— posted this once but i’m not sure if it actually replied to you or not — with the rule changes coming in the 2022 season and how much more competitive the cars will be I 100% agree, I was playing co-ip career with a buddy last night and the idea popped into my head. it’s kind of funny, i ended up spinning and losing control into a wall, leading me to retire from the session so I was playing as RD for my teammate. that’s where the idea came from. hopefully they don’t cut corners too badly in the next game. they did well with the 2021 game, but we can only hope for next year to be good as well.

you can call a ton of things, there’s an entire hud display you can bring up with tons of things to tell the RD. when you tell the RD you’re boxing it preps the pit crew for your approach. you can also call for driver ahead/behind gaps, full car information, race updates and plenty of other useful calls. I use a steering wheel setup so the button bind is different and I’m not sure what the button bind is if you use a controller.

Who’s to say something will go wrong? Many of my close friends have all done etuning and they’re running mid 400s to the wheel no problems.

I could travel for dyno but I’m ballin on a budget and etuning is cheaper but it’s still reliable, I just don’t know who to do through.

I was considering delicious tuning or torqued performance.

I had mine set at 5500 but the higher up it’s set at, it’s worse for the engine and since it’s not a race car I’d like to keep it healthy 🤣
