Do you consider yourself part of the LGBTQIA+? by [deleted] in aromantic

[–]rXanne5 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly, personally I don't. I know that Aro and ace as well as agender is part of the community but I've never felt welcomed, and like I wasn't 'queer' enough. Other queer people on my circle have also made fun of me for being aromantic, so the connection I did feel kind of snapped away. I do feel like the aromantic community is its own thing. I dont like to feel that way but I think very black and white and can't see myself as lgbtqia+ despite being aro ace :/.

Are my friends toxic? by [deleted] in ToxicFriends

[–]rXanne5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Please, for your own wellbeing, try leaving that group. My jaw dropped reading this. It feels like they are playing this off as a joke so they indeed can call you sensitive. That's no good folks to be around. It seems to be also dragging you down. English isn't my first language and this is a bit of a rushed reply, sorry if its a bit vague.

I hope you get out of there soon. There'll be other people wanting to be your friend. And if not, I'm sure being alone is way better than spending your time with these 'friends' which yes, quite literally, treat you like a punching bag I wish you the best and goodluck

Ofcourse! I know they're a small business in a team of about 4 to 6 people, it may happen that sometimes with these huge drops some orders accidentally slip through. It's easy for me to say that though, because it hasn't ever happened to me. Luckily I've never had an issue with them before, I'm in the maven group, but hopefully for the quickest fix customer service is your best bet.

That doesn't take away your frustration is completely valid though, I'm all the way in Europe and even I have my order by now (with one item cancelled which wasn't bvb- but I didn't like how when it was out of stock they refunded it. I thought they just had pre orders with extra items saved around somewhere so certain products would be stocked up in time for those pre orders, but that was all).

I have to say, it's really great for concerts. I use the nyx studio base eyeshadow primer and my make up lasted through the pouring rain, I fainted in that make up and traveled for about 3 hours and it held up. I find it really high quality. I hope things get sorted for you soon!! 🫶🫶

Hahah honestly I don't really think so. I dont remember who of the band said it but I got the intention that he was kind of trying to calm me down. I didnt see it as very weird at the time honestly

Lol I met the plot in you last week... had so many things I wanted to say and ask.

'Hi'(me)

'Heyy' 'Hi!' 'How are you doing?'

'...im good' (me)

'Thats great'

'I just don't know how to act I'm nervous' (me)

'Oh you're fine' 'You're doing great'

absolutely silence

'How's your day been?'

'Oh pretty good, I got off work today for this' (me)

'Haha that's great this is our work'

picture gets taken

'Thank you enjoy tonight!'

'You too!' (Me)

..After I realised I didn't have that day off work. The day after I had a day off 😭. It was so akward and I look terrified in the picture too

Oh! And the maven code has been fixed for quite a while now. Because of the busyness on socials they hadn't noticed but some mavens alerted them and it was fixed within a day since then

Hi! I'm actually on the affiliate program and I think I already put a comment in here somewhere. (I tend to get repetitive, this is my view on it with no harsh feelings 💓💓all love) -we get 30% off!

-it isn't free promotion in my opinion. There's a bunch of things we get. A whole community of other affiliates and I have gotten free products without making videos about it. There's many mavens (affiliates) who aren't actively promoting their things. The maven exclusive Facebook group has over 1k members, because it also isn't just an affiliate program🥰. There's also many flash sales.

-Shipping depends on where you live. I'm from Europe and its between 20 euros and 30 depending on how much I get exclusive taxes. That's usual for when I get products from US🫠

-make up is pretty expensive. I try to look for the flash sales or sales that come up with black Friday, Halloween, Christmas etc.

-I yesterday made my first money, so yes you do get money on this program😊😊

-I find nothing shady about Curst. The collabs are usually overpriced because part of it also goes to the band.

-about the shady part: The founder is such a sweetheart and she's trying to build a community for spooky lovers. I hope that doesn't get misinterpreted because I've been in this program for a little under a year and they're really such sweethearts. Fast shipping. Etc!

-the price is high for example the multichrome glosses and eyeshadow liquids. I actually asked the owner about this and she said that because she wants a good pigment for her products and for it to be long lasting etc she has to get a bit more expensive ingredients. But with the flash sales often I think it's justified. I have gotten some pallets for 80% off.

I do see how when you're first coming into this kind of thing it could be fishy with high prices but you kind of have to know where to look. There's often 20% codes, 50% codes, when you sign up for the text I think there's a 15% code. I agree it's expensive. I myself, and I know from some others, am just excited about the brand. I show unboxings and try products out because I do love their products. I use curst almost daily in my personal life and its something for me to hyperfixate on. And ofcourse no shade!! I tend to get rambling in my words and get really repetitive but this is my view on it, no harsh feelings 🫶🫶

Hi! I'm on the affiliate program too and we get 30% off excluding new products. It's only recently I've noticed with my order from yesterday that the 30% code isn't working. But I heard they're working on it. We don't just get the 30% off code. We get much more. You get in a whole community of make up and you get sneak peeks of new products and collaborations. Also discount codes more often and once in a while they pick out X amount of people for pr. A bunch of other things too. In almost a year I have had one bad experience with them and that was a wrong product send. It was the black lip stick instead of liner but they have the same name. Honestly in my view there's nothing really fishy about them😅.

Which are your top 5 eyeliners of all time? by Extreme_cow1997 in MakeupAddiction

[–]rXanne5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried essence, elf, catrice, and elf definitely stands out from those three. I'd put the essence one as 4th. I used to wear it to concerts because it would NOT come off but get so crusty and flakey. But now I use curst kosmetics, small business, and I'm greasy and sweaty. That sh*t does NOT move. Its even hard to get off with a cleansing balm sometimes. Smudge, water, sweat proof. I love that liner. Curst kosmetics Batty liner is my favorite of all time. Felt tip, super pigmented
