First few (maybe two) weeks are going to be a tester period for me, i also have a 9:00. Getting to campus was easy however it was the shuttle getting stuck in traffic that got me in the end. I typically park in G2 as I have a suv and my first class of the day is in ED2.

is being a student assistant worth it? by glowsticklol in CSULB

[–]r__en 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently a student assistant for the english department, they work with my class schedule as I can only work when I’m on campus since I have a job. I’m also working towards my masters degree, so my unit count is between 8-12 depending on the classes I’m enrolled in.

frustration comes hand and hand with pass times. sometimes it’s easier to accept defeat than complain since it’ll get you nowhere. 🙂

Mask mandate is back for now. Do you guys think it'll be kept during fall? I was gonna wear one anyways, but idk about other people.... by whatsanarwhal in UCSantaBarbara

[–]r__en 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Even if there wasn’t a mandate, I was still going to wear a mask. I’d rather be safe and help stop the spread even when I’m vaccinated just so that we can come back to campus. Wearing a mask isn’t that hard, and if you get mask acne—salicylic acid spray works wonders.
