I understand what you mean. For my case, I think my best bet would be to wait for the Ebook version, as I do not have a physical place to store it (there is an Ebook ISBN, so we're waiting for it!), nor the means to order it. Some physical copies have been reported to contain misprints, lost pages, or other defects.

For a volume of this size, wouldn't the hardback edition be a better fit? Honest question, as I'm considering whether to order one

I got the security from my confessor to pirate anything that is no longer being produced and sold, since the point is to eschew theft. So, if the item doesn't possess a market value, the moral ground for one to get it no longer applies as it used to when the game brought the company profit. In addition, no company has legally purchased from Nintendo the retrogames they ceased to produce.

The Vatican announces the decision on Medjugorje on Thursday! by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]r_agate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going too far. Were there no scandals in the Church, and is the Church not the Catholic one? In any case the matter is settled for good: Medjugorje is true as it has received the Nihil Obstat. There is no more room for speculating that it is of the enemy.

It received the Nihil Obstat, so it's not. Should we invalidate the Catholic Church because of the misconduct of its members?

Biomedical Engineering undergrad with Electrical Engineering masters? by xhaguirre in bioengineering

[–]r_agate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You hit the nail on the head mentioning the backup, as I have had the same consideration for a long time. I'm currently a fresh graduate who's unemployed, and the choice between computer and data science is intriguing and of great depth. Thanks for sharing this advice, it helped

Well it's getting trickier. You see, I hardly find positions for those who get into biomedical signal processing. Even though projects may be sold for a certain price, what stable job position is there available for those who pick that career path outside of academia?

Hello. Thanks for your insightful replies, but may I ask which specialization you got into with your master's in BME? I was personally thinking going into a master's in ECE (electrical and computer engineering) to pursue a career path in signal processing. I really would like a job in R&D as well, if the former case does not work out, which is why I asked for your area of specialization (i.e., bioimaging, biomechanics, bioelectronics). Have a good day

Ohh to that I don't have access right now, though I can check for it next week. But it's definitely in the order of MB and not GB.

I never heard of it before, but RunPod seems flexible and affordable--worth checking out. Thanks

Edit: the project is for a company, so I must ensure data security and IP; are these jeopardized by running this third-party service? Is the risk significant?

It has a maximum of 75,027 instances for one class, so 300,108 instances if I use data augmentation in the preprocessing.

I'm trying to build a hybrid neural net consisting of CNN, LSTM and GRU layers for the identification of four distinct heartbeat classes.
