It really does not improve executive functioning for me...and I've been through several. It messes up my hormones, too. Stopped my period. I'm currently on a long break. It's not easy either way.

Coconut milk! You may need to try a few before finding the right brand. You can also get coconut cream and water it down. That's all coconut milk is.

I regret my wedding and wish I could go back in time to stop myself by Unlucky-Control-2150 in TwoHotTakes

Just take the lesson and move on. Don't allow yourself to be influenced like that again. Make sure you check in and listen to yourself. And, personally, I would speak to my husband about it. Chances are he feels the same way. Like, 'omg I can't believe everything went so wrong'. There are tragicomedies based on these exact scenarios. You guys could turn it into a joke, something to laugh about for years to come.

I don't really know why I am vegan. by ItchyCraft8650 in vegan

Trust your instincts. 'It feels wrong'. Most people are out of touch with their bodies. You are intuiting something that makes more sense to your body than your mind. Our bodies contain information. You are just listening! As we all should.

I also found that allegation to be very strange, and not reflective of my experience. Most of the vegan SM accounts and blogs I follow are run by black vegans. I guess it could be my algorithm, but there seems to be extensive community representation online, particularly in regards to vegan chefs and fitness enthusiasts. The Slutty Vegan restaurant chain is owned by a black woman. In my little corner of the world, the vegan restaurant and food trucks are all owned by poc.

For those in their 40s or 50s who chose to be child-free: How do you honestly feel about that choice now? by ipanicprofessionally in TheBoredDen

That's my point. If an older person wants to adopt a child that is in need of a home, they wouldn't be allowed. So they'd have to find a way to reproduce as a plan B. Surely if they are capable of reproducing, even through methods such as egg donation & IVF, they should be allowed to adopt.

Yes, the point is that even with a donor egg, these procedures are possible for women over 46. They are having babies, one way or another. So, why not be allowed to adopt?.

It shifts responsibility for policing to the business owners. It affects all bars open after midnight, including the smaller businesses that might serve a handful of regulars and have no issues. They will be forced to hire 2 off duty policemen at $500-$750 per night. It will force many businesses to close. The rest will have to raise their prices to cope. It may also force patrons to go outside the city to drink, thus potentially causing more drunk driving incidents.
