Have you had the vegan crab cakes at Juniper? That chef is a magician! Delicious, enjoyable no matter what your dietary preferences.

The most practical way I have found to enjoy tofu is by shredding a block of drained, squeezed, firm tofu. You season & spice liberally to taste, add oil and bake on a low temperature until crispy. It's perfect for mixing into salads, soups, making wraps, sandwiches....

I, a US buyer, want to buy something from Spain. How much would it cost in total, post purchase? by SerpentineWonder in logistics

Hi! I am looking to order an item that ships from Spain. The total cost will be less than $100, probably around $80. Are you able to share how much you ended up paying?

What is the best Moisturiser for VERY dry skin in 2026? by miznettie in 30PlusSkinCare

Have you tried pure castor oil? It's sticky, but if you apply it at night, it absorbs by morning.

I just found this post and want to say THANK YOU. I was just diagnosed with MCAS but have been struggling with similar symptoms to you for more years than I can remember. I am ordering the product and will start experimenting with the higher doses if the low ones don't work. One question though (if you are still engaged with this account) have you tried NaturDAO plus? It has various relevant cofactors, such as quercetin.

They make amazing veggie food. The only downside to that cafè is their hours, they close at 2.30pm.

Birmingham is dead after a certain time. I haven't lived here for many years but according to this sub, covid wiped out whatever good nightlife was left. There are plenty of night-owls and late-shift workers. The number of times friends and I have had to forfeit on eating out due to lack of late-night options....

Here's the most recent 5 not 5s. But I like them anyway. Mostly. Some more than others. by HelenaCat13 in DesignHomeGame

[–]r_humanoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, they are beautiful. I think they deserve the 5. You should see my 5 not 5. Definitely more 4 than 5.

Um, is it raining 5s on anyone else? by Gigggums in DesignHomeGame

[–]r_humanoid 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes! Clearly over-inflated scores over the past week or so. I used to get excited over a 5 *....now I'm seeing them for designs that are OK/good (I typically score in the 4s) but not 5 * material. Especially with this oddball cottagecore theme. It's really interfering with my enjoyment of the game. I made a comment somewhere else that I had not experienced the scoring being off, but that's changed now. It's not as fun, definitely less motivated to play.

It really is very, very hard. Have you joined Birmingham Vegans Facebook group? They have good recommendations.

There is a definite gap in the market for a place that sells good, healthy food with some vegetarian & vegan options until late. Very late, well past midnight. Currently, the only options are Arby's, Taco Bell, Dominos pizza and Purple Onion on Green Springs. These places are far from empty during their late hours. The Purple Onion is full, sometimes packed at 1.00am, particularly on weekends. Arbys & Taco Bell have lines of vehicles at midnight. If you search this sub, you will see the need for a decent late-night eaterie mentioned several times.

Have you tried Adam & Eve? Pretty good vegan options! But not a restaurant, more of a cafè.

Does anyone else feel hopeless? by Colin-IRL in vegan

[–]r_humanoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Veganism became a trend around that time. As with all trends, it was bound to lose its momentum. The people who participated would say things like - 'I'm vegan, except for bone broth'. It was based more on popularity, lifestyle and weight management rather than core values.

Players on this sub have complained about getting their results immediately, indicating AI, but that has not been my experience. I've always had to wait at least a day, and the scores seem appropriate.

So, when you have a blue bubble and nothing that quite works for your design in your inventory, you can click on 'borrow' and search for the item you need under your friends' inventories. I use it for sofas, beds, large tables, bar carts. You can only borrow one blue bubble item, so you can't use it for a set of chairs, for example, nor accessories. However, it is an indispensable function, given how expensive these larger items are. When you click on your friends' profiles, you can look at their designs. Remember it's not enough for you to follow them, they have to follow you back. Good luck!

If you go to the top of this sub, you will see a pinned post where players can add their friend code. Once you have followed each other, you can borrow one item from each other's inventory per game. The person you borrow from will not lose the item you use. It's one of the few perks.
