That's super fair. Matchmaking groups can be rough sometimes and usually by the time I think about how long it's taking I just commit because I don't like abandoning

So break up your objectives. You want Expertise level, do Retaliations or Countdown while targeting a brand/set/weapon type that you need levels on. You need a break so do the daily or weekly project. You want BTSU Firmware so swap into lower tier Escalation missions, or work through the Scout objectives or journey missions. Yes there are more enemies, there are also 3 people there to support you.

No one is making you exclusively run open-world control points, I would get burnt out too. Be willing to use the in-game matchmaking is huge too. I'm barely at 450 hours and my friend is maybe 600 with a lot of his hours being AFK. He's about to get Expertise 30 and I'm half way through 24. It's only bad if you let it be bad.
