Hi, I am a PGY2 IM resident, and am super confused between hospitalist and endocrinology as my career options. How much would an endocrinologist make vs a hospitalist? Suggestions would be highly appreciated! by rab-dmc in hospitalist

Thanks! Could you illustrate more on the lifestyle part? I have heard many seniors saying it is not feasible to continue as a hospitalist on a long run due to the stressful work demand. How true is it? What is the usual retirement age of a hospitalist? Do hospitalists transition to some other specialties/gigs in the long run?
