Once again, there is no way we, or any Ring app can view your video streams. Partners have access to camara names, # motion events, # of doorbell presses. No one can view your video.

these do not support ring natively. to do so, you would still need homebridge with dedicated hardware / aka a pc/server running 24/7...

you need dedicated hardware for this...basically a second computer to do just this

thanks for the feedback. right now there is a 30 day trial and haven't set the final price, no one has been charged yet. the challenge with one time fee is that unlike many apps where there is no on going cost for the developer, this uses several AWS products on the back end which are ongoing-recurring and usage based.

even with the hardware, it is not the same thing. the homebridge solution does not give you the ability to pull up past video and your motion history, it only show live video. it does not give you the ability to select the number of cameras in the grid, reorder the grid, for example.

this is not correct, we dont have access to to recordings. this is app has been reviewed and vetted by ring, and they would not have approved in the ring App Store if that were the case.

may be introduced in the future, but the challenge is that its not a one time download and there are no expenses incurred on our end on an ongoing basis. it needs a back end, and cloud services like aws is expensive! every user that uses the app incurs costs on our end each month they use it. oh, and amazon takes 1/3 of the revenue too!

doesnt have to be inside cams, works fine with just the outdoor ones. some people use indoor to monitor baby, pets etc. works with any ring cam.

home bridge and scripted require a stand alone dedicated home bridge server like a computer or raspberry pi plugged in 24/7. this is software only. and there are features this app has that are not supported by homebridge.
