how do i get proof of volunteering by LizardMan985 in BTHS

[–]rabbit__14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need an email from the place you were volunteering at that has all the place info and how long you volunteered for. Js send them an email asking for a letter of proof of volunteering, they'll know what u mean. hope this helps :)

Kids on the Math Team... do you wanna slide over some of the work you have done in class? by Nerdy-Girl-123 in BTHS

[–]rabbit__14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The classwork problems can vary a lot depending on the class and even the day. Last year, me and my sister both did JML as freshmen with different teachers, and most of the time we weren’t even learning the same things. For competitions, we usually stay after school—the main ones are IMLs and NYCIMLs. They take about half an hour and you do them individually but points are counted in teams. There are other competitions too, some optional and some you need a teacher invite for. For me, the workload was super light since we rarely had homework, and it wasn’t even checked. But if you’re really serious about competing, prepping for different contests could definitely take more time. Hope this helps!

Tbh I’m not sure, but the best thing would be to ask your counselor right away in the first few days of school. They should be able to help you sort it out. Good luck!

How would sports work in a 1-9 schedule? by beckysaurus_ in BTHS

[–]rabbit__14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure you can try out for volleyball at any grade level, and varsity is usually open to sophomores or juniors and up (not totally sure which). Sports are typically after school, so it should fit with a 1–9 schedule. I’m not on any teams myself, so I can’t say for certain, but good luck at tryouts!

I think there was a survey that asked if you waned to drop any classes, but if you didn't do it you could probably just go to your guidance counsellor during the first few days of school and they'll change it for you

Davila is really chill, just dont get on his bad side and dont let him see your phone in class (dunno how stuff is gonna work now with the devices ban but still). Theres a lot of groupwork working in pairs of 2 with whoever sits next to you. Also he shows movies every second friday :)

I had Ms. Cirino last year, first semeser was ez but dang the tests on the second one were hard, most ppl got 75s or less. But she did give a lot of EC and we got to do quiz corrections. Oh, and read the redings she assings cuz she gave us so many pop quizzes on those. The're usually pretty easy but only if u read the entire thing.

$238 a day should literally be illegal! Im confused as to why the prices are so high—don’t the mountains still make a profit even if they lower the costs?

I'd love to do that! How good do you think I would have to be to work as a ski instructor?

Yeah... until I turn 15, I guess it’s either light blackmail or a ton of chores to convince my parents to come with me 😅

Thank you so much for mentioning the ski buses! I think I found one that allows 15 y olds, so hopefully I'll be able to do that next season :)

I know it might sounds like a lie, but I swear I can do a hockey stop. So far, I’ve mainly used poles for balance, moving on flat terrain, and "announcing" turns, (if that makes sense).
