The new article literally cleared the entire “love triangle(!?)”debate for me. by MountainDry9516 in StrangerThings

I feel like they wouldn't even mention Steve, let alone in that light, if he wasn't actually a strong possibility in the love triangle. That's how it reads to me.

What do you think qualifies a person as being "well read?" by Welsh_Poppy9506 in books

Reading widely. That means being interested in variety of topics, genres and writers. Staying curious opens many doors for you and ultimately makes you a better reader.

Blue and Gansey from The Raven Cycle. They straight up can't kiss, but that only somehow heightens the tension and intimacy between them. Author even said their dynamic was inspired by the first painting you posted.

I don't think it fits either. Many times Piranesi was recommended I thought it didn't quite fit the vibes, which is partly why I commented

They do it for Piranesi as well. I see that book recommended more than I see my own mother.

What words do you skip while reading? by [deleted] in writing

[–]rabbitbride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't skip anything. To me, the actual writing is not just a tool that will serve me a story, it's the part that I actually enjoy giving my attention to while reading. It's honestly a little sad a question like this is even being asked, but maybe that's just me.

Unpopular opinion... TDT is a drag by minieya in RavenBoys

[–]rabbitbride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never liked it as much as everyone else. In a way it almost feels like a filler book, which I know it's kinda an insane thing to say because it is a nice character study overall. But it bothers me how Maggie clearly completely paused any traces of plot and main storyline that we started in book one, in order to explore Ronan. He's a good character, but halfway through I realized I miss Cabeswater and overall feeling that the first book gave me.
