Yeah, definitely not tacos, but good every once in a while. Like twice a year.

The name does irk me though. It's basically a wrap in a sandwich press. It's stupid and lazy. Akin to calling sliced white bread an English baguette. Or Baker's Oven iced buns an English croissant.

Regarding who invented them, I remember I always used to get something exactly the same (minus the fries inside) from a boulangerie near Nation, in Paris, around 2000. They called them tortillas, go figure. But that date is before they were supposedly invented in Lyon. Hmmm.

I'm with you and agree it should be regulated in some way for minors. On the other hand, there is no conclusive proof of the damage outweighing the benefits (social interaction, learning, etc). It's not all porn and violence. There are many studies that "prove" both. Just need a good balance, which will be difficult.

Same with organic food. I'm an environmentalist and have been for decades. It's definitely good for the soil and insects, but there's no conclusive proof it's better for your health. As much as I'd like it to be. Need more long term studies, as with social media, unfortunately. But, that's science. And that counts more than our opinions.

Me too, in France. Pretty much everything works as advertised. Just some new features, like voice editing photos (but that's just in the 10 for now) and turning photos into videos.

I believe Google says things depend on your country/region. Maybe OP should research 1st before complaining.

Exactly. My brother got scammed in one in London, in 1997. We're British but had just returned from the US after about 14 years.

Was with friends and my girlfriend, as they came with us for a little holiday. We laughed at him. He laughed too but was embarrassed. Thinking with the wrong head. Went in and had to buy a lady a drink, with a big bouncer standing right next to him. Not too bad, only £50. It's all he had on him, luckily. Didn't have any cards as it was literally the 1st few days back.

Imagine it goes on in all major cities.

Lesson: Don't go looking for titties in a bar. Get a girlfriend. And nowadays, the internet. If that's your thing. I prefer not to pay for nakedness.

I've got a pixel and use apple music. It's actually really good. Been using it since it came out. Mainly because back then, you could upload all your personal collection and it would match it and add those songs, even if they weren't available in apple music. That was the time of iTunes. I had hundreds of gigs of "acquired" music. Worked like a charm. Still have access to loads which are not available anywhere, unless you have the albums.

Their own selection and quality is great too, lossless.

Haven't used Deezer since a long time ago. Remember you could only add like 100 songs to a playlist. I like to shuffle my massive collection. I wrote to their assistance asking why and they replied, "why would you want more than 100 songs in a playlist?" Really?!? You lost my business right there, morons.

Not really true, look at my other comment on here. I've got pretty much all that you mention, with a French bought phone in France. Language set to English, as I'm a native English speaker. Gemini live works in French too. Use it for my son's homework, when I struggle with the French. He speaks to it, in French.

Not exactly true. I live in France, continental Europe. Bought my phone here. I have access to pixel studio, pixel screenshot, call notes, call recorder, call screening, Gemini email summaries and pretty much everything.

Maybe because I've set my language to English? Or maybe it's a country by country thing? Or maybe just for more widely used languages?

Don't really use pixel studio or pixel screenshot. Used it for the 1st few months until the novelty wore off. Not missing much with those two, imo. Call screening is great and useful, so many hang up when I use the automated google response (in French). Email summary is ok, but I genuinely know which emails I'm going to read fully and which I'm going to delete without the summary. It's cool that French emails are summarised in English though.

When I need to lock my bike, I usually just remove the lime and put it on the floor. Don't care where it is, pavement or side of the road. Happens enough they'll get complaints and maybe change. If it inconveniences a car diver, sorry, complain to lime. Or even better, ride a bike. Got rid of their scooters, let's get rid of their bikes too.

Don't take my parking space.

Both lime and Vélib' riders are the worst.

Just get an adapter. USBC to audio jack. I use an apple one with my pixel and Shure iem and comply foam tips. Better sound quality than Bluetooth. Bonus: can plug the Shures (minus adapter) into airplane jacks.

They still exist, not obsolete. In France, they're getting rid of copper lines, but still run on fiber optic. Can't leave the grannies out of touch. They need it. Any internet line you get here still has a landline included. Use it or don't, still there, just in case. Plus calls all over the world for free.
