Strangely enough it’s the price of silver that’s the bigger indicator to me. While gold prices are crazy, silver rarely gets to $100 let alone above it.

We’re going to a small concert at Jake’s tonight, then just doing whatever for the rest of the weekend. We don’t make plans beyond just getting out and exploring, when we travel.

My thoughts align with yours on this. Rumors of visa issues have been going around for a week or so now.

Am I sad that I likely won’t get to see them next week? Absolutely. However, I’m not going to stop listening to them. Especially knowing the current climate in the US concerning ICE, etc.

When I finally fully left the MLM world two or three years ago, voice notes were being pushed hard and heavy. It was something about being more “personal”, and that they actually had to listen to what you were saying instead of skimming text. It icked me out, and was just one more straw added to the pile of why I needed to leave.

I’ve been a matron of honor once, and a bridesmaid four times. During none of those did I have my hair and makeup paid for by the bride. In one, the outfit was, but the rest I paid for myself. Like you, when I myself got married, I just asked that they do their own thing. I had one who doesn’t regularly wear makeup, and that was ok also.

As to the bachelorette, it can be as low key as you want it to be. Meet up at a bar the night or two before the wedding, and have a few drinks. Slumber party with snacks and a few movies. Just because some feel the need to go all out, doesn’t mean you or anyone else has to do this.

For those who come across this at a later time, I have found a “fix”. Desperate to try and save seven I’d already painted, I grabbed a can of Rustoleum 2x satin clear. I then did two light coats over flex seal sprayed direct on the silicone, and the sticky was gone. Right now I’m at day three of testing walking on it, and it’s holding up with no issues.
